Gibraltar, is the British Overseas Territory, and city located at the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula. It has an area of 6.7 km2 (2.6 sq mi) and is bordered to the north by Spain (Campo de Gibraltar). The landscape is dominated by the Rock of Gibraltar, at the foot of which is a densely populated town area, home to some 32,688 people (2022 estimate), primarily Gibraltarians.
Gibraltar is most famous for The Rock of Gibraltar, a 426 meter high limestone rock rising out of the sea. The rock can be seen for many miles. It is home to the Barbary Apes, a type of tail-less macaque which are the only wild monkeys in Europe.
A unique feature of the Rock is its system of underground passages, known as the Galleries or the Great Siege Tunnels. The first of these was dug towards the end of the Great Siege of Gibraltar, which lasted from 1779 to 1783.

great video Janna well done with excellent sound advise 👍
hopefully the treaty agreement will happen soon and part of that will be freedom of movement for any EU passport holder to acquire automatic residency in Gibraltar, and vice versa for any Gibraltar residency card Holder, at least for Spain.

Finaly after maybe 1 year we have just today recieved all the Power of Attorney documents - all 4 lots - in case my elderly parents were to suffer any restrictive problems.. So i know some of these documents can take a long time to get right.. Everyone says to me - enjoy your retirement - but i find i need the time to fill in all these papers... maybe we will have to have a celebration when its all done... Kevin..

Доброго вечера, я не могу сказать, т.к. это индивидуально, переоформление всего 2 недели заняло, друзья англичане при первой подачи, тоже не долго ждали… Вам там при подаче скажут.

British passport holders DO need a residency card if they wish to remain in Gibraltar beyond being on holiday. I.E. they wish to live here as residents.
Without a residency card you have NO access to free health care, nor do you have any rights to put your child in free state school.
Having a residency card formalises your legal right to live in Gibraltar as apposed to just being a long term holiday maker with no rights.

@@AmarGrourou-ix9kb Janna and myself both live in Gibraltar so we are familiar with the rules and we are UK passport holders.
You are confusing the pre brexit situation when Gibraltar and the UK as part of the EU enjoyed freedom of movement within any EU country.
Since brexit both Gibraltar and the UK are no longer part of the EU, consequently freedom of movement has endedin Gibraltar. Janna refers to this as the "self sufficiency" residency option which is no longer available.
She has also made a series of video's explaining residency options with a respected local firm here - Fiduciary Wealth Management.
This means any citizen be they UK or EU in order to gain residency in Gibraltar will need to qualify for one of the other remaining residency categories which Janna clearly explains.
It is hoped that an agreement on the treaty between Gibraltar, Spain, the UK and the EU will very soon be agreed within weeks. This will essentially make Gibraltar a defacto part of the Schengen zone and the border will be at the airport and sea port. Spain will have ultimate responsibility to decide who enters and who doesnt as they are responsible for Schengen in this part of Europe. The current physical border will go away along with the hassles of entering/leaving by road and on foot.
UK passport holders along with all other non EU passport holders will have third country status to enter Gibraltar and therefore will need to comply with the 90 days in every 180 days stay requirement.
So if you wish to reside in Gibraltar beyond being on holiday you do and will require residency.

Gibraltarians hold full British passport, with everything that a British citizen born in the uk has. No all this garbage and waffle is nonsense, gib is part British family, and there identity is that strong, that’s as Gib.
