Hi Joe , The brass thing you said looked like a dog bone is a "webbing belt keeper" old school type army/navy issue. Cheers Mate👍👍👍😎💨🏴☠☮☮☕☕☯☯
Oh wow that's amazing, that's exactly what it is!! I'm a little embarrassed I called it a dog bone cookie cutter now lol.
I drove by a couple of times a few years ago. It was pretty messy then. I never got the detector out 😊. Fun hunt! Thanks for bringing us along.
Yeah I'm happy to see that they've really cleaned it up, it's a very nice little nook now.
We used to have a sulphur pile in town too, but the place closed down years ago, I guess they put them on the water for shipping
Yeah I've always wanted to go see it up close, they filmed an episode of Stargate SG-1 there!
Who was out there with the 3 and a half inch floppies
Haha I have no theories, very odd.
Is this close to coal harbor area?
It's about 1km from the Easternmost edge of Coal Harbour.
@ the view looked familiar from last time we were in town. Walking down in the area.
