This is my beloveth technician, with whom I am very pleased, bring business to him! Even though the diagnostic process is getting long winded, convoluted and confusing, you are showing us what makes you a well rounded tech. I can’t wait to see this next phase of the process. Well done Deo!
Happy new year Deo. You need to see this man. I took my wife car. He take care l. The car run so smoothly. It’s worth to drive hours and hours to see Mr Deo. See you after new year. 🙏

This issue appears to be common in the Honda Element. Really nice to see the diagnostic process to confirm that it is indeed a bad sensor/switch. As noted in other comments, electric-related issues always feel overwhelming at first, but videos like these go a long way in helping dispel the mystery of the beast and illuminate how this is just another aspect of the discipline all technicians need to be able to manage. Interestingly, same code (albeit less common) is also seen in the Corolla iM and that is usually caused by a faulty part as opposed to a sensor/electrical issue.
considering your diagram, the ground should be on all the wires. the switch is a normal closed one, one of its side is connected to the ground, so you get the ground on its second pin. the same is about solenoids, but the ground on their second pins you get through solenoid coils when ECU does not control them...
Im addicted to these videos. His analysis and approach to problem solving is exemplary. And hes humble
@yhussain733 Thank you!
