Thinking about getting the Onevan Impact. My tools are all Makita so I have proper Makita batterys that can give it all the power it needs. I will see what is the most powerful impact for under 100€ and buy that plus a Makita to Parkside adapter if I end up buying the Parkside. An original Makita isnt worth the money for the few times a year I would need it. Makita has super strong impacts like the DTW1002 and DTW1004 but those are almost 300€. Well worth it for professional use but not DIY.
I think with a genuine Makita battery the Onevan at the moment might be the one to go for. Lowest price and these tools really love a genuine battery. I also know they have more powerful versions, but are 3/4" drive if you are looking for something like that. I think if you have some 5-6Ah Makita batteries you will be really happy with these Aliexpress ones as bare tools.
I'm using that Gisam with Makita OEM 6Ah battery and tested difference between parkside A3 version, dewalt DCF900 and gisam. Result was of course dewalt by just difference in nut busting torque only 1-2% in compare to Gisam(but I have only 5ah XR batteries and not 'strongest' 9Ah flexvolt 21700 :-/ but parkside is 'much' weaker in these 3 types. Parkside limit was around 1500-1550Nm nut busting and dewalt with gisam was limit more than 1700Nm (but I dont have stronger torque wrench for test) edit: but I forgot to thank you for very good and nice video! :))
Thanks for the great comparison as always! I'm interested in these Aliexpress tools as they use Makita batteries, and I have two 6Ah ones available. Would it be correct to presume that some tools are safer to get than others due to how simple the mechanics in them are? Like this Gisam impact wrench has worse gears. But what about a circular saw or a multitool? I know there is a cheap 165mm circular saw (looks like Makita 680Z clone). (and a battery powered circular saw is what I'm missing)
Thank you for your kind comment! I would think so, the simpler the tool the smaller the chance it goes wrong. With that said the gears on the Gisam look like the gears on the older Parkside, but still the question stands what was the quality of the metal these were made from. In terms of a circular saw it should be simpler than an impact wrench and the most stressed part if it would be the motor. But they sell the motors as spare parts so there is that. They have the electronics for the impact wrenches on Aliexpress, just not the hammer mechanism.
Yes, that is why I used the line "don't do this at home" 😅 but these are all headed for scrap anyway so I was allowed to this video. But still told not to cause too much damage. That is why I backed off a couple of times when I saw I was causing real damage to the thread.
Would have loved to test the new ones, undortunately this was the only set up I could get, the Broke Life and all… got my eye on the new Gen 2 stubby at some point. If I had a Milwaukee sized wallet, the things you would see on this channel 😂
I can at a later stage but did you not find any information you were looking for? Could you point me in the direction of what you are looking for that I overlooked? Thank you!
i dont think knocking is a grease issue, not entirely because i have it in my impact (it was new or so i believe, ordered online), and upon noticing that i did some research, it happens in a lot of impacts no matter the brand, i also worked in a retail tool store back then and tried every single impact there to see if it knocks, and even some of the new makitas would or whatever, it may be the spring which is never 100% percent uniform between each individual tool
Could be that as well, I just noticed if I went with new grease and put just a bit more in there it will stop the knocking. This is not an issue at all just rhought I would address it as there were many comments on forums regarding this. You can‘t have an impact wrench where everything is packed tightly together. There needs to be just a bit of space between the casing, anvil and hammer. That said if the grease gets in there well enough, you will still have the gap, however the knocking should be a lot less. But stull if the gap is not massive it should not worry anyone at all!
Hey, i have parkside A3 version of that. I head from someone, that it is good idea to put some drops of oil (can be simple motor oil, like 10w40) in the inpact thrue the anvil, without dissasembling the tool. It is true? Or it will ruin it? Thanks 😁
If it is just a bit it won't ruin it but still a risk for it to get to the electronics of it. Not much of an issue to disassemble it and grease it up like it should be done. I know it might look difficult but as long as you pay some attention to where you are pulling the screws from it does go back together quickly and with ease so I would suggest to do it the proper way. I think the adding oil without disassembly "hack" brings more added risk than anything else.
But wont it ruin the 5 years warranty? If no, then probably I will dissasemble it someday and lube it. But if it will ruin the warranty then i will use it for 5 years, and if it would still work at that time i would lube it normally 😁
@@lifewithmusic2855 I think opening it will probably void the warranty. So I would not risk it if I wanted to be 100% sure I would have the warranty if needed.
Hi there! I bought a PASSP 20-li C4, and the Lidl Home application noticed me, there is a new firmware for the device. I downloaded it, and since then the tool stopped working. Not even the torque selector or the working LED emitting. Do you have a clue, what to do with? Thanks!
Hello! Probably a failed connection during update so that means the tool does not know what to do now. Just connect it back up and finish the update. That will fix the issue 99% of the time. The update takes a long while so be patient and make sure things stay connected all the time. If that does not fix the problem, try with another smart battery and if the issue is thill there it will be best to warranty it. But I am positive it should be alright once you wait for it to fully update.
@@Feuerfalke3 the update procedure has been interrupted. If I connect the tool to the battery (smart, or normal) shows no signs of life. I should somehow manage to let the smart battery see the tool again.
@@Feuerfalke3 thanks, but I can not even let the battery to communicate with the tool, it is totally dead, but I am keep trying with different methods! :)
Would love to, unfortunately the cost is way above what this channel can afford at the moment. As for a good review of the brand at least 3 tools and a couple of batteries are needed 🥲
No problem bro, maybe buy one tool a month😝....but if you wanna try it in the future, I would recommend the full size mid torque DCPB698, compact DCPB488, impact driver DCPL208. Too bad I'm in South East Asia, if not I would probably shipped it to you for testing😂
That is why I want to try them out at some point as I understand it they are super popular over there. But I‘ll try and think of something in the future 😉 Thank you for the support! 🤩
From my experience, at the workshop, DeWalt DCF891, DCPB698 regularly bust out Toyota Hilux 22 mm lower arm nuts & leaf springs U-Bolt, 35 mm front wheel bearing, while my friend FMTIW2/2962 mid torque struggles or failed sometimes. But the one that they all 3 failed is when busting those overly tightened 17mm transmission casing bolt due to the use of 18 or 20 inch extension....🤷
@@BrokeLifeEU I'm not sure how Parkside controls batteries. If the control is happening on the battery side you're probably losing power by using that adapter.
This is from their listing. „Adapted to 18V Makita battery -Not Compitable for DC18WA BL1813G BL1413G Battery . -Suitable BL1830 BL1850 BL1840 BL1840B BL1850B. √ Battery Capacity Suggestion: 2.0AH - 5.0AH √ compatible for 18V B series lithium battery,such as BL1850B(197285-8),BL1840B(197270-1),BL1830B(197602-2),BL1430B(197618-7),BL1820B(197487-6); √ compatible for BL1850,BL1840,BL1440(196391-6),BL1415(194560-3),BL1815N(196781-3); × NOT compatible for G Series battery such as BL1813G(196663-9) BL1413G(196882-7) BL1415G BL1430G BL1815G and so on × NOT compatible for 18v Ni-CD battery such as 1822(194465-7)“
Buy the Gisam for €30 without batteries and get original Makita BL1850B for €55 when it's on sale, and you have a good combo for cheap. I would buy DC18RC second hand if you can find a good price or new for about €40.
Sounds like a good deal! The Gisam is not too bad just a real unknown at this point how long it will last, but it uses basic electronics so replacing them should be easy enough. On top of that the Onevan version of it is now even cheaper when on sale.
@@BrokeLifeEU If I was depending on it for my work I would buy the original, but for hobby I think it's better to abuse this throwaway Chinese one. The French channel bricovideo ovh secondaire tested it with original batteries, and it came to 442Nm on the highest setting. The cheapest Makita that has 330Nm is DTW300Z for about €200 and for that price you can buy 6 Chinese one lol.
@BrokeLifeEU cheers mate brilliant video that parkside is good better than I thought imo but they are never any where I live and the price isn't for the C4 ether they was wanting 120 pounds my birthday soon thinking of asking for the 3/4 gisam or onevan to try next they are a 100 pounds 😁
Sorry for that! Those MFkers at parkside really mess with our heads by giving false claims on the PAPS 2012 A1 box > "160% higher discharge currents for more power" compared to 4Ah PAP 20 B3, which is not correct as the 12 Ah battery is limited to 120A discharge current and not is max capable 150A. Yet I do want to keep my question up, because while the cells are most likely 30A discharge, the battery might have a different value.
As much as I would love to give you a well educated answer to your question, I am unfortunately not able to do so. My knowledge in Physics is very limited and not sufficient enough in order to be able to completely understand the phenomenon, let alone explain it to someone else. However I did not pull the up to 20% reduction of power out of thin air. Adaptors are a subject tested by the Torque Test Channel, video will be linked as well. ruclips.net/video/opeKWQ-retM/видео.html&ab_channel=TorqueTestChannel
@@BrokeLifeEU Ok, i found physical explanation. This power loss is not result of adaptor itself, but clearance around connection parts. It depends on how loose that clearance is, momentum of nut, impact distance, temperature of connections, adaptor and nut etc. This make sense, but it is so variable, that it can not be said "i will use adaptor, hence i would lose 25%". It can be significantly less, especially with tight driver-adaptor-nut connections. With precise machinery it can be reduced to zero (although, nobody would make precise machined connections for power tools 😀 Physics behind this is, that impact trajectory of driver is short, so short, that it is in few degrees. If that trajectory is 2 degrees and clearance around adaptor connection is half degree, it will create 25% slip, which will be wasted in empty momentum of nut. Thanks for answer nad direction into proper physical thinking.
This is not bs. Any adaptor, extension, etc. will reduce the resulting torque. Each connection is introducing some slack in the system which absorbs part of the impacts coming from the driver. Long extensions can also flex (torsion) and reduce the torque even further.
Fantastic video my friend. However, there is still room for improvement in your content, because it lacks scientifical evidence for the torque. Still, the disassemble part is wonderful and you have great potential. Ideally, you would need torque wrench capable of 1k or more which would differentiate the tools. I had the A2, it was great but made awful grinding noise. I sold it and bought the B4 which was more powerful at first speed and was very smooth. And eventually i also bought the C4 which is just as good as the B4, very happy with both of them. So the hell with Milwaukee and gisam :) i stay with parkdream
Thank you and yes I absolutely agree! Going by gut feeling and attacking random nuts and bolts is not the most informative way to test these. As soon as I lay some proper groundwork for this I hope to be able to invest in some proper equpment, but we will have to see how it goes, still loads of unknowns…
Milwaukee costs 4 times the Parkside, does it 4 times better?! hell NO! Parkside is worth every penny and even the Chinese one is not bad, Milwaukee is a waste of money!
price to performance ratios are always logarithmic not linear. At the high end you need to pay a lot more to gain very little performance, that's normal and justified.
@@jonathanlarsen4177 From what I saw, they all did the job at the end, a few seconds more or less means nothing to me....but if you wish to pay the price to save 10 seconds it's your money

@PetyrWo we buy a container full of Parkside tools and percentage of them is used as spare parts and some time we go for the local market for parts which usually from China
But to be fair in general the tools now are lacking quality control. That bit is left to the end user. They have dropped the price so maybe that is the reason, but still better to pay €5-10 on top and trust the tool can be used than to get it slighly cheaper and go back and forth returning it and getting a replacement.

Parkside limit was around 1500-1550Nm nut busting and dewalt with gisam was limit more than 1700Nm (but I dont have stronger torque wrench for test)
edit: but I forgot to thank you for very good and nice video!
300nm on those M12 wheel bolts 😅 Usually an M12 bolt would be tightened to 100nm to 150nm depending on the grade of bolt.
Yes, that is why I used the line "don't do this at home" 😅 but these are all headed for scrap anyway so I was allowed to this video. But still told not to cause too much damage. That is why I backed off a couple of times when I saw I was causing real damage to the thread.
That Milwaukee is very old first generation were on the 3rd generation and the Milwaukee requires the new forge battery for maximum output.
Would have loved to test the new ones, undortunately this was the only set up I could get, the Broke Life and all… got my eye on the new Gen 2 stubby at some point. If I had a Milwaukee sized wallet, the things you would see on this channel 😂
Please review Gisam 2800 only
I can at a later stage but did you not find any information you were looking for? Could you point me in the direction of what you are looking for that I overlooked? Thank you!
I would love to see here ryobi 1600Nm
I will try to include some Ryobi stuff in the future, just need to make sure it is sustainable, because as it is I am losing money from this channel 😂
i dont think knocking is a grease issue, not entirely because i have it in my impact (it was new or so i believe, ordered online), and upon noticing that i did some research, it happens in a lot of impacts no matter the brand, i also worked in a retail tool store back then and tried every single impact there to see if it knocks, and even some of the new makitas would or whatever, it may be the spring which is never 100% percent uniform between each individual tool
Interesante lo de modo experto, lo pondre aprueba
Si lo pruebas, viviría para saber cómo lo encuentras. ¡Para mí, la aplicación y el bluetooth estaban causando muchos problemas!
Thanks!
The Update will mostly take 10min or more.
Let the battery in and just wait.
@@oktanpista902
Yes do the Update again when it has reached 100% wait 10 min.
Wish you luck.🙂
@@Feuerfalke3 thanks, but I can not even let the battery to communicate with the tool, it is totally dead, but I am keep trying with different methods! :)
Anyone knows what type od gears has the passp B4?
You are asking the hard question right away! I would also love to know!
Any plan on testing DONG CHENG 20V, available on AliExpress...
东成比不上米沃奇、得伟但比视频里这些公模机强多了
From my experience, at the workshop, DeWalt DCF891, DCPB698 regularly bust out Toyota Hilux 22 mm lower arm nuts & leaf springs U-Bolt, 35 mm front wheel bearing, while my friend FMTIW2/2962 mid torque struggles or failed sometimes. But the one that they all 3 failed is when busting those overly tightened 17mm transmission casing bolt due to the use of 18 or 20 inch extension....🤷
Can get the gisam under the onevan brand for 60 UK pounds at the min or 45 without a battery😊
Sounds like a solid deal to me. Even better you have genuine Makita batteries and don't need an adaptor.
@@BrokeLifeEU I'm not sure how Parkside controls batteries. If the control is happening on the battery side you're probably losing power by using that adapter.
I think with Parkside it‘s all in the tool.
3/4 Will be and upgrade?
I will try my best, but I don't see it as an option to be fair. The opening in the casing is just enough for a 1/2" anvil and too small for a 3/4"
What type of makita battery does the gisam need thanks

Parkside recommends a battery 8ah
Yes, it does work really good with the 8ah however I tested it with the 4ah as well as many people are using it that way too.
@ On a small 4AH battery, the test does not show its full 1890Nm power.
Yes, that is indeed the case. It needs the 8Ah for sure. The 8Ah battery and if possible Expert mode and it is a beast!
@ Exactly
M18💪🤜🤛
It is a powerhouse 💪
Gisam takes Makita batteries?
Yes it does.
What’s this intro all about 😂😂😂
Well the C4 is all everybody has been asking about the past couple of weeks 😂
I wonder if anyone know what maximum discharge current the old 4 Ah battery PAP 20 B3 has ?
Azt hiszem 40 A
Yes, 40A.
4ah performance = 50A
8ah performance = 100A
@@roberttakacs5029 are you sure that is not 60A?
Not to be completely trusted, but I also rember the older ones being something like 60A. But I could be very wrong.
Why not just get a genuine makita battery
A bit too mich 💸 for just a video
ill stick with my fatmaxx
No need to change it it works for you! Never had any of their tools, however I am told they are wuite good for the price.
Amazing, I love Parkside
Thank you! I also enjoy many of their tools. Great proce to performance ratio! 🤩🤩
What is a physics behind claim, that small adapter will reduce up to 25% of Milka power? Because i can not come with any and smell BS.
With precise machinery it can be reduced to zero (although, nobody would make precise machined connections for power tools 😀
Physics behind this is, that impact trajectory of driver is short, so short, that it is in few degrees.
@@BrokeLifeEU Thank you for being honest! This is very import
t, but less and less people are honest today
Gisam is 1800, not 2800.
There are two different models. One is the 1800 and the other one is the 2800.
@BrokeLifeEU What is the difference? Is 2800 with more power, or only the fake numbers are bigger?
@ The numbers in both cases are as fake as they can get 😂 but the 2800 model does thave a bit more power than the 1800 model.
What about the Gisam3200nm? Does it have more power than 2800?
Good question, but my wallet can‘t afford to answer it in the near future 🥲
Can you imagine the Parkside was on sale in France for €60 😳 CRAZY!!!

They have some really nice tools! Also the pricing is more than decent! However they have nothing like these. I hope they bring out more tools as I also like some of the Ferrex stuff too.

Parkside ha bajado de calidad 😢
He actually demonstrated the exact opposite !
But to be fair in general the tools now are lacking quality control. That bit is left to the end user. They have dropped the price so maybe that is the reason, but still better to pay €5-10 on top and trust the tool can be used than to get it slighly cheaper and go back and forth returning it and getting a replacement.
