Honestly neither of them were ready, Barbra was a bit more but one thing you have to remember is you are never actually ready for a kid (anyone who tells you they were is either lying to youor themselves but its fine to not be fully ready just do the best you can and accept youre not going to get it all right and will make mistakes but thats fine just try to make them right), and both wanted to be parents they were just so in their own heads that they didn't feel that they were "ready" enough.
