The ironic bit is that me and a few class mates are doing this scene but the person playing Barbara isn’t white so I need to find a way to change that verse 😅

To be fair to Adam, walking into your house and seeing a grown man dressed as a baby would scare 99.99% of people.
He just looks so done with everything and a little bit worried near the end lol.

One thing I really appreciate about his design is keeping the mullet he had in the show. Beetlejuice was described as basically being a shady car dealer by people who worked on the movie. Which is why they put him in a suit but still made him trashy looking. The Mullet-Suit combo was always a good sign of “maybe you shouldn’t be making a deal with him”

I am ashamed at how aggressively distracted BJ's fangs had me for literally the entire video. I have to watch it again because I couldn't pay attention to _anything_ else.

I like how in both animatics I’ve seen, Beetlejuice seems more hopeful for Barbara to be scary than Adam, then ultimately decides that together, the two of them are completely hopeless.
Beetlejuice: Barbara you have great opportunities and possibilities to be scary. But one problem.

Wow the expressions for Beetlejuice were brilliant! I loved the creativity as well with his delivery and visual gags. One thing I'd note is that some of Barb's early expressions come across as bored at times as her eyes are a bit too hooded but other than that this was so amazing!

This was so perfect! I /adore/ how BJ here seems to be such a loving combination of all three (heh) incantations, the sheer personality in each movement from all three of them, how much comedy is added with the choices in the drawing (like summoning random ghosts to be the chorus!), just,,, THIS WAS PHENOMENAL I LOVE IT SO MUCH

Ok, so, first of all, uh, wow???? Usually when I love an animatic, I have something to specific to compliment, but this is seriously so good that I can't really figure out how to put into words JUST how much I adore this.
Your art style is gorgeous, for one. Then the expressions? Brilliant. The staging? Perfection. Every little detail adds so much to the song and you've managed to both capture the characters and put your own unique spin on them.
Also this might not make sense, but I have synesthesia which kinda tangles the senses and your lineart is crunchy?? Like in a really satisfying way. Idk how else to describe it but believe me when I say it's a good thing hbnjkm
