    Hi and Good day,
Me and my girlfriend currently applied for a student permit and was refused after 18 days of application. On our refusal note it stated that we didn't meet the requirements of IRPR and IRPA because he is not satisfied that we will be leaving Canada at the end of our school year. Another reason was our purpose of visit is not consistent with our stay at Canada. The question is do I need GCMS notes before working on again on our Statement of Purpose letter? or should I just rework on it and explain that I am a "bona fide" student and will be leaving Canada as soon as we finish our studies?
Thank you and I hope to hear from you anytime.

My only concern with ESL programs is that the time you spent studying it doesn't count towards your PGWP :( So if you have plans to work in Canada after graduation, you'll need to study another program that is PGWP-eligible.
More info about that here: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/temporary-residents/study-permits/post-graduation-work-permit-program/institutions.html

Ohh the English proficiency test, you'd have to check with the program or school you're applying to. Some of them require taking an IELTS Academic test, some accept Duolingo and some may exempt you from providing one and will only require you to give a Medium of Instruction letter proving English as your predominant language in school. :D

Hello ma'am, i just submitted all my requirements on June 23, 2022 and had my biometrics on the 29th of June 2022. Until now, I haven't received any email yet. The start of my classes will be on the 7th of September 2022. And my study permit deadline is on August 1, 2022. What can you advise to me?
