    Thank you very much for always keeping us informed and updated. I do have a question. What is my chances of PR studying to be a licensed practical Nurse at a community college?

    • @rrdancel
      @rrdancel  2 года назад

      I think most regulated jobs require some sort of residency before being licensed as a practical nurse. So it’s looking like a two-step process where you study a similar program, eventually get PR, then apply for licensure - but I could be wrong 😅

    • @smwk2017
      @smwk2017 2 года назад

      Community college is a term used in USA. Canada has colleges and universities, with 3 tiers of tuitions: in-province, out-of-province, and international students. Nursing enrollment is up. The bottleneck is the limited number of instructors and hospitals for residency. After graduation, one must pass NCLEX-RN exam to become Registered Nurse.

    Just a clarification on the processing time. Are you able to advise if I can get my visa by Sept 2022? I am Singaporean, currently working here. I applied for study permit along with work permit for my spouse. I did my medical exam late as I was waiting to receive request from IRCC. S0 I did upfront recently, given the situation of delay.
    I am kind of worried.

    The path is clear to me , just how hard is it to get a job offer in 3 years pgwp?

    • @rrdancel
      @rrdancel  2 года назад

      To be offered a job is fairly easy as long as you meet qualifications 😊 Job offer is mainly dependent on getting an LMIA which doesn’t apply to you if you have a PGWP length of 3 years (ample time to meet eligibility for EE or other PR programs)
      Unless you’re aiming for PNP, in this case has its own set of requirements which my knowledge is limited on.
      Getting a job offer is different from being offered a job 😜

    Hi Rachel, please answer me.
    My study permit stated may not accept off-campus work because I was in an English program before starting school. I finally received a full-time letter of acceptance from my university but didnt know that I should have applied to update the conditions and I worked off-campus because I met the eligible criteria which includes being a full time student with letter of acceptance. In short I received the letter didnt know to update the conditions and worked with condition saying cannot work off campus. Am I in trouble?

    Can you do a video about good universities? Please.

    • @smwk2017
      @smwk2017 2 года назад

      It depends on what you want to study. Some universities excel in certain fields but not others. The famous ones are U. of Toronto, McGill University, U. of British Columbia, U. of Alberta, U. of Waterloo, McMaster University, and Queen's University. U. of Montreal is French. In US, they associate famous universities with football team performance; thus, many Canadian universities aren't well known in USA.

I applied my application to get a study permits almost a month ago and I haven't heard anything from them. It's making me feel anxious and worried that maybe they rejected me. I've fulfill all the necessary things like financial capability, a place I'm staying in, etc. Idk what to do now and if they respond late with a no, my chances are ruined. What should I do?
