I know that they recently gave a deadline of May 15th for fall 2021 and my acceptance of scholarship and loan will not make it before that date😭
I just got my study permit refused. I am looking to address the visa officer's concerns. They said 216(1). Not satisfied I'd leave. I'm an older applicant, I did not include a job offer, and did not include any solid proof of assets that keep me tied to my home country. Rest is all clear.

In my gckey on March 9 my visa was approved and they sent me original passport request letter without my medical updated into pass, and a few weeks later it returned to application in progress then this april 1 it updated to medical passed, my concern is that I already sent my passport on march10 to the nearest vfs office, and the last update to me of vfs was my passport is already in process, until now I didn't received my passport with visa stamp, what can you recommend me to do?

Hope u can help me. My study permit application was only DIY. I got my study permit and visa in Montreal school but I decided to change school while I am still in the Philippines . So I reapplied again but I include my wife in my new application then our second application were refused stating that we do not have enough ties. Thank you for your question. The answer to your question is quite complicated. If the funds are from a family friend, what is the motivation for the friend to pay such high tuition fees and living expense? What about the evidence that the friend is willing, able and actually made a payment? Because, just writing a letter stating that you will pay is usually not enough.

I don’t see it as a step down. Even I went from a Bachelor’s to a Certificate but was still approved for my SP.
The important thing to do is to have a well-written and well-supported letter of Explanation attached to your application. That way the immigration officer knows your intention and purpose to pursue that kind of education.

It is a red flag. However, you can reduce the officer's concern by providing a well written, well-supported and convincing Letter of Explanation or Statement of Purpose. Maybe get a professional to review it with you once you are done.

It’s hard to say now since citizens and PRs have also been laid off due to the pandemic. They have the priority before temporary residents - but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s impossible to find a job here 🤗

What if you really want to stay and work in Canada after your studies? I noticed most ytubers say that it is of UTMOST IMPORTANCE to state that you will be leaving Canada after your studies. However, I really want to get a PGWP then ascend to PR status.
You still have to mention you'll come back because on student visa you cannot state anywhere that you'll be staying back. After your studies you have to apply for WP. Until you do that you have to say you'll return back to your country.

Hello, I'm in France for now. I'd like to move to Canada in septembre to end my high school there (11th and 12th grades). But I'm scared to be refused. I'm not sure to have enough proofs that I will leave Canada before my pr expire. First of all because I will do all my possible to stay in Canada to do my undergrade and go into a vet school. You said that to prove that you'll leave, officiers will check if you travelled before (I went to Spain 1 time for just a day and it was the only time that I left my country 😭) so do you think it could jeopardize my application ? For the other requirements it should be ok I hope. But once I'll end my high school, I'd like to apply for university. And then there are 2 options, either my parents were able to join me and to get their pr, it means that I should have a pr card too, so in that case, no problem. Either, my parents weren't able to join me in time, I'll have to apply for an other sp, if I do that, does the officiers can don't believe me if I say that I will leave Canada because it's what I said for the last sp ? (And if I do my studies in Canada it's to be a vet there and to come back in France only during holidays). And if my parents moved to Canada before my application for university but they don't have their pr yet (so me neither), I will be absolutely not believable if I say that I will leave Canada before the end of my sp because my parents will be in Canada, not in France anymore. Yes, there is always a chance for refusal. It still has to go through processing, eligibility and admissibility checks before approval or refusal.

He has sufficient funds and assets can his profile be refused because of his uncle sponsoring him and his family situation?

If you submit your study permit application along with your OWP, it’s more likely that both applications will be approved unless there are some concerning factors in their application. 😊

Yes, it’s possible as long as you prove you to the visa officer you will leave after your authorized stay in Canada 😊

Yes you can get a return of your paid tuition fees if your study permit application was refused. But how much you get back varies per school. This is something you’d have to check with the school you enrolled with. 😊👍

No, your previous application is already linked to your UCI - which stays the same since it’s your unique identifier and that’s how IRCC traces your immigration application history. In short, you will still use the same account when you reapply 😊👍

Oh no, the first mistake is going to an agent for this. Better to seek legal advice from an immigration lawyer or consultant for matters like this.

I also got a refusal last week mainly for not having enough family ties in Canada and in my country of residence which is UAE considering my wife and daughter also live with me here. Another reasons are my current employment status, purpose of visit, and lastly the limitation of my employment prospects in my home country. To give some context, I applied for an IT diploma as I do have a technical education back home and IT work experience in the Philippines but I currently work in corporate in insurance industry. Should I change my course just to match the kind of career that I currently have or justify the career change that I'm planning to do when I applied for that course?
I'm also thinking of getting an immigration lawyer but I don't have idea how to find one. Could you give me idea where to find them. Many thanks!

@@rrdancel i plan on taking up a 1 yr certificate program in supply chain and logistics for our family business here in the philippines. if i do pay for example the tuition fee for 1 sem or 1 yr and my student permit gets rejected. Will they return the money I paid? I’m just not confident about my POF. Thank you
@@hanz5960 Your institution usually refunds a part of what you paid, it should be noted in your application letter or something, at least it is for me

So when we reapply can we use the same bank statements or we have to start everything fresh and new 🤔 but my application was rejected due to purpose of visit
You may have to update some of your documents especially if some time has elapsed from your old application to your new application 😊 it’s better to update to the most recent just to be safe 🙏😊

• You have not submitted written documentation from the educational institution where you intend to study that states that you have been accepted to study there.
however, we are REALLY sure that we have submitted a LOA. i wonder, what's the best we can do?
