I remember I helped someone with her SOP who has been refused 4x. She has more than 4M POF. But still refused. I advised her to make her table of expenses more detailed. And put more effort on home ties. And voila! She got approval on 5th attempt. God is good. 🙏🥰
Hello Ms. Rachel! Wow, you're such a pro at reviewing SP applications at this point. I'm starting to draft my study plan while waiting for an LOA. Thanks for all these tips 👍🏼
God bless you Rachel. I have been following many Canada immigration vloggers but I think you are the best! Your videos have enlightened me a lot. Short and very informative! And I also like the fact that's you support your research with facts and case study. See you in Canada soon
Great content Rachel! But I want to add something - to be honest, the Abu Dhabi Embassy (most of the time, not all) refused applicants on a TR status. I guess many OFWs from the middle east including myself can testify to that. :D Well-written study plan can be subjective, depending on who is reading it. But I super agree on writing your own study plan - consultants can suggest some key points to make it stronger but the main letter should come from the applicant. For most of my students in my coaching program, this is their major dilemma, writing the study plan, but they were able to pull it off afterward! Sometimes it's just about the mindset! :)
Hi MC! Happy to see you here. It’s really great that you are able to provide insight on the situation based on personal experience - so thank you!🙏 I agree with you, study plans are personal or subjective. The main applicant should be able to explain their narrative. But not all times can applicants explain it in a convincing manner that is logical to the visa officer. Hence, it may be more helpful to get legal help from an registered immigration consultant or immigration lawyer that can support their statements and tie it up with objective evidence. Totally agree with you on the mindset part and sometimes a little push is all they need - I guess that’s why we’re here hehe 😜❤️ Thanks again for your insightful comment and all the best dear!
Wow I'm early! Thank you for doing these case studies! They're so interesting and INSIGHTFUL! I've been binging your videos preparing to apply to study in Canada soon, your video editing skills has improved so much!

Please I just got refused and don't know what to do next. Reason is Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).
Hi Dear, Usually, you would like to order your GCMS notes to see the visa officer’s comments about your file. Then afterwards, you would like to create a plan to address their concerns. Also, I would highly recommend that you hire a registered Canadian immigration consultant or a lawyer. The reason for this is that your chances of approval on re-apply is much lower.
Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds: • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your current employment situation. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your travel history. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the limited employment prospects in your country of residence. You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements.
Thanks for the video. I just want to ask regarding the SOP, I lodged my application for express entry and was resulted as ineligible. Now I will try the student pathway with my wife & 2 kids. Should I mentioned about my EE result during writing of SOP. Please enlighten me on this. Thanks
Hello. I want to work in IT sector as a software engineer and I think to go 2 year diploma programs in Community Colleges about computer programming, and also I want to get the PR. As you know Vancouver and Toronto have more jobs about IT sector especially Vancouver because many tech companies are coming to Vancouver, so I can find job, job offer vb., more puans for express entry, but some people said that these cities may be wrong choice for PR. My first goal is getting PR because I want to stay in Canada. Which city is true choice for me (Toronto,Vancouver especially Vancouver) or (Halifax, Calgary, vb.)?
Please tell me if someone's apply for college with low percentage 43 would he get his visa refusal? despite having strong financial background and good SOP...plz reply
Assuming all other factors are acceptable, low GPA may be considered a problem. But, it really depends on which visa officer is reviewing your application or how well you write your SOP
Hi rachel, thank you so much for your sharing. May i have your suggestions for my path. Honestly my english is pretty bad, i just had my duolingo test and only score 85. Which is below the average score 105. Do you think if i am going there to take a English course is a good choice?

Very informative! Actually I've talked to a couple of immigration consulting firms here in the PH. Thing is, I want to take up a program that isn't related to my bachelor's degree and work experience. Whenever I mention that, all of them keep saying that it's better or that I should take up a program that's related to the course I studied back in college or my work experience. It just kind of annoys be coz instead of asking me why I want to take that program in particular they just say that's not a good idea or that I should have some kind of certification related to what I want to take.

Hi @rrdancel how long should be the sop?
hi po may tanong po ako. may new rule na daw. di na daw masasama si SP if mag apply si OWP for PR. dapat daw taposin mag school si SP. is it true?
Can you state in your letter that you would like to work/live in canada at some point?
Hello po, what the difference between certificate or diploma, what is the best way to gain PGWP

As mentioned early in the videos, a study plan is often referred to a Letter of Explanation (LOE) or a Statement of Purpose (SOP). Hope that helps.
