"Rhoda" jumped the shark when they brought in Benny. The character was dimensionless and aimless, and the guy who played him was about as interesting to watch as drying cement. I always wished Brenda had married Gary Levy.

Great security for Brenda. Hopefully, despite her lack of college education, she'll be the breadwinner and move up at the bank.
He was a nice guy. He was sweet and respectful. Nothing wrong with a working class guy. And he adored Brenda. Better than Nick Lobo. And I did like Gary, but he hit on Rhoda before he moved on to Brenda. I would rather not have my sister's rejects personally. Would have liked him to hook up with Rhoda in the end.
i love this show but the opening music was irritating when they changed it, then it got louder......my op.....i loved rhoda and company but that .....forget it....

Comparing Benny to drying cement is very insulting. Drying cement at least serves a purpose! I 👍 agree. Benny was a dud.

Why did Benny get dressed in his pajamas in the bathroom when they are gonna share a bed (he's gonna see her body in bed).
Brenda had terrible taste. She should have married Gary.
