मेरे मामा चन्द्र पति यादव जी, ग्राम तुलसी पट्टी भटौता पोस्ट -कटघर जिला- सुल्तान पुर, 13 कुमायूं रेजिमेंट में तैनात थे।
18-19नवम्बर 1962 की रात में चीन की लडाई में शहीद हुए। जनपद सुल्तान पुर के 4 जवान शहीद हुए। अहीर धाम में 13वे नंबर पर नाम वर्णित है।

Marvellous heroic real story of kumaun Regiment of 1962 China India war.I am really feeling proud after listening and knowing the valour of our soldiers shown in the battle field of 18000 feet height.
Battle of Rizangla is not only epic Battle of India but its universal epic. The famous song " Ai mere Watanke logo Jara aunkhme Bharat lo pani..... used bring tears to every sensible Indian. Everybody attributed to the extraordinary singing skills as well as her heavenly voice, but the original event and the extraordinary dedication and bravery of will bring flood of to Indians great 👍 salute these noble, courageous and brave sons of India 🇮🇳

It would have been more appropriate if name of warriors, their individual role and medals awarded to them would have been discussed. As aper my information 1 PVC 8 VC and 4 SM were awarded to them and Colour to Charlie Compny. My respect to all warriors and thanks to SH Kulpreet Ji for book. 🙏🙏🙏

Should have talked about the 1757 Invasion of Delhi and how Najib came to power. William Dalrymple's Anarchy talks about Najib's descendants and presents an enthralling narrative. I hope that someday you'll do a show on that and Shah Alam's eventual fate.

Felt very proud when I read the lines..as my dad fought 3 wars in his very short tenure of just 10 years with the indian Army...and till date if I mention any martyr saying he died..my dad corrects me 'not died..desh ke kaam aaya'..😊
