Nayak Ram Kumar was my Grandfather. The story haven't ends in the bunker. He was captured by Chinese after fall into the cliff. Tourchered there and from there he somehow escaped and again fall into the snow cliff. After some days he was found by some Indian soldiers who were passing by in a vehicle up from mountain side and they assumed he is a dead body. They carry him to hospital but there are no documents with him so nobody knows who he is. After sometime he got his consciousness back with good care of doctors. Than he told them about his name, company or other important information. For 2 months our family thoughts he martyred in the battlefield. If you say those were caste then so it be but those were the caste who has the kingdoms in the past. The Rajputs of rajsthan, the Jats, the sikhs , maratha, dongra, kumaoon , garhwal. All were the kingdoms at some point in time or the other. So you Ahirs were never had kingdom hence they don't had regiment on their name. Raising a army is not easy a task.
