Being from NE, The details he knows about NE , no other central politicians knows like that. This is the main reason that central leaders are not able to connect with NE. They just come once in a blue moon.
Here we have so many tribes with each tribe having their own cultures. So understanding NE becomes complex task and they just don't want to take the pain in their head.
I agree that NE still has insurgent groups in some parts of the remote areas mosty indo Burmese and Chinese borders but these numbers have drastically decreased compared to early 2000s or before that.

I get that bro. Ive spent quite some time in NE in different places. The people there are some of the best in our land and nation. But one thing I must say that people need to come out of tribal identities and allegiences and alogn with what is required in the present world. That does not mean sacrificing identity and culture but defining it such that it has its own place and importance. One should not view everything through that lens. This is something I have strongly observed as a tendency amongst each other in the tribal identities. The ground for commonality has to be flexible and expansive and the identity must have its defined space and applicability. It cannot be the overriding factor. Because otherwise in todays day and age it becomes limiting both ways. Stay strong.
I would like more people from the NE in mainstream India as then the sensitivity and understanding grows both ways and also more people from other parts in NE rather than both feeling alienated depending on circumstance. Syncretism fosters strength and unity and then better prosperity. NE must get whatever is available anywhere else in India for the betterment of people there irrespective of tribe area or language.
