In today’s episode of Figuring Out, we have Lucky Bisht in conversation with Raj Shamani. He is the former Indian Commando and spy and is now a screenwriter. His courage, resilience, and intelligence throughout the ups and downs of his life will truly inspire you today.
In this episode, we started talking about why his name is in the top 200 snipers of the world, how he was wrongly accused of doing the twin murder, and the painful story of how he spent almost 4 years of his life in jail. He shared the dark reality of Indian jails, how smuggling, corruption, and rape happen in jail, and many other ugly stories. We then talked about his childhood, how he came into the Indian army, he shared the tough training during his army days, how he used to perform operations, and some thrilling stories from operations. He also shared a story of China where it changed the world dynamics and tried betraying India.
Towards the end, we talked about Z+ security, the process of how they work, and how Chhota Rajan approached him to join him. Lucky Commando is a perfect example of the fact that, a man's Intelligence, Emotional Maturity & Communication Skills, has got absolutely nothing to do with his educational qualifications. For a person who joined the Special Forces at a tender age of 16, when most us were kicking around in high school, he is way ahead of his peers and contemporaries.
There are lots of special forces veterans doing podcasts in youtube, but none of them, not even the original firebrand Major Vivek Jacob, comes even close to Lucky.
I have only one request. If ever his story gets filmed in bollywood, Lucky himself should play his part. Not any of the fake, phoney bollywood heroes (or clowns ?) could do justice to his role & definitely none of the anti-national "khans".
Lucky Commando is a 100 % Positive Energy "Power Bank" & his zeal and enthusiasm is almost contagious. I often listen to his articulate, energetic talks in youtube, whenever I feel low after a stressed-out day & become fully recharged in no time.

In one of the other podcasts, it's implied that he had to kill those criminals who was running network of cimes across country and outside on some orders. He can't accept it in front of camera. The sad reality is UPA didn't help him later once NDA was in power he got some help and got freed without any charges. The agency helped him a lot and he rejoined the army back. Later on he took early retirement. He was also a RAW hitman and did lot of undercover assignments. He is just a soldier. Hats off to him !!
