This week's master is Dr B.R. Deepak. He is a Professor and Chairperson of the Centre of Chinese and Southeast Asian Studies, JNU.
He is a recipient of many scholarships and awards including the prestigious Nehru and Asia Fellowship, and India-China Cultural Exchange fellowship for his doctoral and advanced studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Peking University, Beijing, respectively. He is the author of India and China 1904-2004: A Century of Peace and Conflict (2005), India-China Relations in the first half of the Twentieth Century (2001); China: Agriculture, Countryside and Peasantry (2010), and Chinese Poetry: From 11th Century BC to 14th Century AD for which he has won China Special Book Award in 2011; India-China Relations: Civilizational Perspective (2012); India-China Relations: Future Perspectives (2012). Prof. Deepak has been a visiting fellow at the University of Edinburgh, UK and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Beijing China, and has delivered lectures at the Free University of Berlin, Bonn University, University of Heidelberg, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Sichuan University, and Haerbin Normal University.
He has written and edited several books on India-China relations and the Taiwan issue.

एक अच्छा विषय लेकर आज की क्लास संपन्न हो गई.लेकिन, आप सौरभ द्विवेदी जी और आये हुए मेहमान प्रोफेसर दीपक जी दोनो भी जेएनयु से हो,क्यां इसीलिए जब चिनी इतिहास के बारे में बात निकली तो
हमारे भूतपूर्व प्रधानमंत्री जवाहरलाल नेहरू के कार्यकलापोंका विवरण छुपाया गया. जबकी उन्होंने ही संयुक्त राष्ट्र में चिन के स्थायी सदस्यता के लिये ज्यादा ही जोर लगाया था. "हिंदी चिनी भाई भाई" का नारा भी दिया था. हां मैं यह जानता हूं की आज की क्लास भारत और चिन संबंधो के बारेंमें नहीं थी. फिर भी जब चॅंग कै शेक के राष्ट्रीय चिन और कम्युनिस्ट चिन के राष्ट्र संघ के सदस्यता पर बात की जा रहीं थी तब यह बताना स्वाभाविक होता.
आपको आंतरराष्ट्रीय संबंध और विभीन्न देशोंके आपसी तथा एक दुसरोंके संबंधोंपर ज्यादा रुची हैं,ऐसा प्रतित होता हैं, और क्युं ना हो,होना भी चाहिए.

Hame padhne se lekr job tak ghr parivaar se door jana padta hai. Na private college hai na private company hai.... Jab kaabhi garm roti khane ka man hota hai to maa ki yaad aa jati hai. Chath ka dala uthta koi v festival ho to video call pe dekhte hain. Aapse nivedan hai ki ye mudda aap uthye apne manch se. Saurabh, I understand you want to keep the discussion on track and make sure the train doesn't derail, you're doing a great job of moderating though I'd like if you can let the speakers complete their thoughts without interruption. These interruptions could cause breaks in the thought process of not just the viewers but the speakers as well.

बड़े ही दुख के साथ कह रहे है। कि आप हम स्टूडेंट्स का भी मुदा उठाइये।मैं आपको काफी दिनों से कमेंट कर रहे हैं सौरभ भैया, कि जहाँ जहाँ कोचिंग सेंटर हैं वहाँ पर रूम रेंट काफी हद तक लिया जा रहा है जैसे अल्हाबाद,पटना कानपुर, और भी जगह है जहाँ लिया जा रहा है आखिर बताये हम सब बचे कैसे पढ़ाई कर पाएंगे इतना ज्यादा रूम रेंट के चलते कैसे कैसे करके घर से पैसे आता है और आधा रेंट में चला जाता है।जो बचे सोचते है काश हम जाकर बाहर में पढ़े, और ओ रेंट के चलते अपनी आश खो बैठते है ,इतना कहा से दे पाएंगे। जो आस पास के मकान मालिक है बहुत ज्यादा ही रेंट मांगते है😥😥😥😥🙏🙏🙏🙏..बस आपसे इतनी सी गुजारिस है इस पर एक बार बात करिये सौरभ भैया जी । धन्यवाद भैया जी हम आशा करते है कि आप जर्रूर उठायेंगे आवाज ।।।🙏🙏🙏🙏
