They actually have yet to see this, it's going up for critique on Friday. I haven't shown them any stopmotion yet, but they've shown us multiple examples and they adore it, so we'll see lol.

Hey Alex, I know you're taking a big break from brickfilming, along with Jonathon, and are busy with school and making other projects, but are you going to make another brickfilm eventually? Also, did you cancel your Captain America series or something?
I'll never dismiss the idea but I don't have any plans for the future, and I haven't spoken with Jonathan for a while but I don't think he does either. Howling Commandos isn't cancelled but since 2017 it's basically been put on an indefinite hiatus.
@@LonecloneProductions So, it was on hold since then, right? Hopefully the series gets finished. If it does, I would be more than happy, since it is one of my favorite MBU series! And it will probably take a long, long time for it to come out if it were to continue.

Jonathan's all in on jaubrey and probably will never make a full return to brickfilming. That's not to say he won't make any animations ever, but I wouldn't look forward to any unless he announces something.

Yeah he switched over to doing video essays on a new channel called J Aubrey and he's doing pretty great work. Couldn't tell you about when he'll make more lego stuff, but I wouldn't count on it.

Why don’t you and Jonathan do lego videos anymore
It got stale after doing it for 8 or so years. I personally wasn't really growing my skills or flexing my storytelling muscles as much I would have liked. I was forcing myself to put out videos when I didn't really have the motivation to. Jonathan started a new channel called jaubrey that's more successful than Aubreystudios probably could ever be. We're also both in college.
Loneclone Okay cool. That’s fair 👍 I just wanted to know cause you guys just suddenly disappeared after making such hilarious videos together 🤣 But I know how it feels. I had to stop doing my one lego channel about a year ago because of the amount of schoolwork ✊

@@yaboi494 We'd still like to do that, put a satisfying end to it all, it's just a matter of finding time and motivation. I haven't talked with Jonathan about it for a while, but from my observations he's also at a really critical point in his new channel where he's gaining a lot of growth really quickly, and if he wants to maintain that to the degree where it could be a solid source of income, putting out content there frequently is going to be key.
