In a world where literally everything is commodified, and where there are people that sell $100 dollar courses that are essentially basic self help, I think mentioning that a piece of art that you poured blood sweat and tears into is available for purchase (and free download!) is really not lessening yourself in the way you seem to think it does.
I've heard your track twice now and I dig the hell out of it, and I decided to purchase it not just because I'm into that kind of music (Katatonia, PoS, Amorphis type vibes), but also because I could instantly hear the time and deliberation that went into it. Even if someone doesn't like the track I think that they can at least hear that, and wouldn't be insulted by being charged for it.
p.s I'm glad you showcased the breakdown in this video, that part is sick!

It's weird man. It's more this 'who the hell do I think I am?' kind of feeling around it. It feels wrong, even though I don't think it is wrong. But like I said in another response here, I'll shut up about it now and stop being weird about it moving forward.

@@heitstrengningmusic - Attempts at humour can go quickly awry on the interwebs and I would have thought better of it if I had I thought about it a little longer so I'm relieved that it was taken as intended.
I should also have said that I 'think' your track's really good as I'm not qualified to judge really.
