Lol talk about getting the who's who of the off road recovery elite! I'm glad you guys and the dog could get to higher ground, and that was some massively quick thinking to get your truck anchored. Hopefully meeting the best of the best helped create great memories of your overlanding adventures. They definitely seem like salt of the earth kinda fellas.
That wrecker was in my driveway 1st 8 years my life I thought it was the biggest truck in the world I even would sleep on it it made a lot of decisions for me and the way I took my life. Being a mechanic for 33 years happily married to it anyway I owe this to tow nd recovery companies all alike in every town :)
Found ya! Glad to find recoveryteam and the wrecker to add to my collection of recovery guys. You just got a sub and eternal thumbs ups from now on. The depiction of the wrecker on the sticker is hilarious.
All 3 of you guys work so well together, I can tell everyone has a different way to work but is willing to try it different. Keep your team mind set open and you'll just keep becoming closer friends. I'd love to buy all 3 all 3 of you guys dinner and sit and listen to your adventures.... It would be an honor.
Wonderful good hearted people on an adventure. Made me truly miss my 2006 GMC DuraMax. Really glad we could hear they’er story how they got caught suddenly in a flash flood situation. I was laughing with you all grateful nobody got injured. Living out here in the Great Mojave Desert we’ve had our close calls. Great job Recovery TEAM!
The owner had the presence of mind to anchor the truck, which is probably why they had a driveable truck to come back to! It's interesting what a thunderstorm five miles away can do. I doubt they knew where the runoff basins/sloughs were, since they were from Colorado.
It's not difficult to determine where runoff will go especially when the ground is usually scarred leaving indications from the last water to flow . Especially around the base of mountains be very observant of weather conditions. I always pay attention to the lay of the land especially when offroading in rainy season, and during the monsoons but I was trained early on in my life .
Not to judge but did he say he say he saw a 3 foot wall of water coming..so he grabbed his generator, then his dog, then tied off his truck...sounds like he had a whole lot of time..to move his truck
@@stweasel he said that the truck was already stuck when they saw the water coming. i would choose the saver alternative aswell, cuz who knew if he would be able to get the truck going again in time. :)
Need to add "we will see you in the desert" Really nice to see the old red tow truck make short work of that. I hope you can have other "collab" with the different companies out there, to bad Justin King was not out there also.
Great production. Great teamwork. All for a worthy cause. Most recovery services would have balked , said they weren't available or charged a kings ransom to even do this. Al done with comraderies' and friendship with no judgement and love for the sport. Well done!
Vehicle owner here... When we called Matt for help, we thought they were just bringing the Morrvair... We were completely blown away that they sent a whole team to help us out, it was a huge surprise for us! Both BSF and Matt's team were super amazing to meet and a real pleasure. I'm glad we called them for help and they were able to get us out of there!
Awesome seeing you guys working together. The wrecker definitely has a hand up when it comes to situations like this. Just being able to lift it up to reduce the friction and if there was any suction. Great job guys.
Different off roading world than in the Midwest I've seen the I-10 in Phoenix, Arizona underpass with 4 ' of water in it from heavy rains flash flooding. Great video big red prevails.
Honestly, I love how all join to help one another, versus every man for himself, it makes me want to watch everyone, although I do have my favorite, lol, its all good. around here a business had a devastating fire, person was out of business? NOPE, his competitor offered him a place in his shop, to work until he could rebuild & get back on his feet. allowed him to have key & use tools & all, it still chokes me up, but shows true kindness towards his fellow businessman, and he wasnt glad to lose his only competitor, but made sure he got his competitor back on his feet what ever he had to do.
Been a great series, loved getting to see yall hanging out like you have been friends since highschool. I knew the wrecker would pop that out no problem after seeing videos like the s10 buried for 3 years and I bet the sand didn't stink half as bad as some oth the leach mud from back east.
I lost a 1ton with an empty gooseneck in a flash flood. The driver (not me) had parked it at a workover rig site and went home (was supposed to load the next day) it came a bad thunderstorm and they couldn't get back into the site for a few days.. I went up there with my 5 ton 6x6 and my Michigan Loader to unbury stuff. Found my 1ton and trailer buried past it's cab in the "slurry pit" (think a big pit they pump drilling mud into)..
A recovery like this is where a wrecker is handy because you can pick up on it instead of having to dig out as much. And, can be easier on the stuck vehicle since you can lift instead of having to straight pull on it.
Great video and camaraderie again! The team continues to work well together. There seems to be zero selfishness ever. This is very unusual in today's business environment. Watching these videos is relaxing, educational, and entertaining amongst many positive adjectives. Goodwill seems to be a common thread that runs thru the fabric of their friendships. This includes Matt's Offroad Recovery, Fab Rats, Trail Mater, Bleepin Jeep, MischiefMaker, Robbie Layton Nation, Casey LaDelle, Papa Dar, BSF Recovery Team, and others.
That is cool I am putting a small s10 wrecker together my self its a 1 gen s10 regular cab put on a 80s s10 blazer 2 door 4x4 frame just have to make a wrecker bed for it for the back going to use it to tow sxs and atvs
Sick mines also gen 1 I boxed the frame got a 14 bolt rear, a dana 60 super duty all on some leafs from the junkyard. Np205 divorced ford and it's got the 2.5l 5 speed still
This was so fun to watch. I wish there was 100 hours of video of this trip of you all wheelin' & playing out there. This should be an annual thing...no seriously.. this should be an annual trip... Maybe Matt & his crew should swap every other year & come out to Wisconsin & wheel in our stomping grounds? Two legends in RUclips recovery. The content you both created from this trip is super addicting! That customer was smart to get his stuff out before the mud flood came & even better... he was well equipped with enough straps & chains etc to reach that far & the forethought to tie off the truck to keep it there & from sinking more. but judging from the giant solar panel on his topper... it's not his first rodeo out there. great content... we're ready for next years videos **hint hint** lol
The wrecker with its vertical lift capability definitely the tool of choice. Why stress undercarriage and drivetrain of stuck vehicle when not needed Y'all were a good team!
You changed your name sometime back, Didn't you used to be BSF Recovery? Your channel stopped showing up on my Feed at least 2 yrs ago ...Glad Your still Making Content. Still subbed and know, I know to LOOK for Your channel again... F'in Shadow Bans...It was great to see ya'll run together out west......Many Blessings , SMR
I seen the Morvair, that's what brought me here, looks like you have a new subscriber. Good job on the recovery, I'm used to seeing them being yanked out, this one was buried . The wrecker made short work of that.
Glad to see You all got too meet. I watch all of you all the time on Your channels. Love the old Squarebody. Wrecker. Great Video. Thanks fod sharing..
Well, teaming up with Matt just got you one more subscriber! Nice to meet you and I look forward to seeing your recoveries! I almost forgot, you have a great crew and you all have a great sense of humor! Your cameraman is a crack up, and I mean that in a good way! You rock too Eric!
I've been watching your channel long before Matt's so it's cool to see two of my favorite off road recovery teams working together. It's also neat to see you in my home state of Utah
I cant wait to move out there, so much to do , been living in Va all my life with old logging trails in the mountains , cant wait to get out there with my rig
These are the best channels on the internet to watch I hope I hope there's more you and Matt definitely do a good job together is a good idea going out there
BSF got them out for a clean recovery. Of course you had Rory and Matt's Off Road Recovery team there to provide directions on how to do the recovery. Lizzy was there for the humorous comments. So don't forget where you got your direction.
Found both Matt's channel and your guys channel at the same time. Really enjoyed all the video collaboration's you've done so far and love the channel as a whole.
Was such a great time. I was happy to be the chauffeur to the pros. 😀
You're the best!
Thanks again for everything!!! We appreciate it!
@@angelamorley9921 absolutely. Happy to help out.
The Morvair is the most badass sounding vehicle rolling. Combined with the Red Wrecker, it's just beyond cool.
Can you imagine the stories when they get home? Our truck was SO stuck in Utah that a wrecker from Wisconsin had to come in to get us out!!!
And they have the sticker to prove it!
@@xheralt] p]
Wheel loader would make easy work out of that
Thanks to everyone who came together and pulled our truck out! Flash floods are nothing to joke about.

I think it is pretty cool that Matt invites other RUclipsrs on his recoveries.
Probably because Matt doesn’t see the other guys just as youtubers. They are friends, and maybe even family.
Another fine example of teamwork , the right equipment , and a lot of knowlage and experiance.
This collaboration makes me super happy!
Now that was cool, two separate off road recovery rigs being hauled on another off road recovery trailer lol. Love it!
I like how that dude gives it stickers
As the lady said, "It's a great community", nice job all.
The most beautiful thing in this world is to have good friends
Being able to lift and pull at the same time really helped. Having proper equipment always makes things easier.
Matt's team, Fab Rats, Eric's team and Bleeping Jeep are great. I found these guys recently and i really loved them all.
All that was missing was casey. Lol
@@tractorboy31 I hope they can make up someday.

The Morvair never had it so easy, not only did the wrecker handle the recovery but there was an actual ramp for on and off the trailer!!!! Nice job👍
I love how you come together and work as a team! Maybe one day our paths will cross Eric. Keep those videos coming!
Wow, I can't imagine doing that without your wrecker. Nice recovery, very smooth.
I'd be scared to try using it in the dunes, but the wrecker was definitely the tool for that job. Nicely done!
Holy mud bath! That thing was buried! Great work. It's awesome watching you guys work & hang out together! Matt made you do all the work lol.
Two of the best off road recovery channels together...dream team folks...DREAM TEAM!
Great to see all of you working together. And.... Lizzy did a great job supervising.
How can you not love this!!!!
Thee old square body to the rescue!!!

Flash floods are no joke, glad this one wasn't too bad.

exactly what i thought, the owner wanted to keep his car, so did what was needed, i bet the damage would be way worse.
Not to judge but did he say he say he saw a 3 foot wall of water coming..so he grabbed his generator, then his dog, then tied off his truck...sounds like he had a whole lot of time..to move his truck
