Wow, I have been trying to watch crappy vids from others on RUclips for 2 hrs with my hands covered In fork oil I can't even see the screen on my phone at this point... Lol. Gave up for the night and then found your video. This one was very helpful. No brand adds for seals and oils just what I nedded!
Hey nice break down,👏 Im a huge fan of Dave Moss Tuning 🤗on how he does street bike and suspension, He's always talking about keeping up with your fork oil changes. Aside from you and maybe a few other guys no one addresses that issue🙄 and your detail was excellent in how you filmed it👍. I see a lot of-- buy a whole new fork or you must have this size tube or blaw 🤑 blaw 🤑I like trying thicker or thinner oils to try to change suspension before going for springs, new cartridges or other expensive bits🤑 and as you showed its easy 🔧. Tx4V
So if those o-rings are flattened it won’t hold the oil from escaping out the the top. I’ve done everything trying to bleed all the air out but the damper rod has no pressure and doesn’t spring down like it should. And all the oil comes completely out when I close everything up. Idk what to do
Made it look easy. I need to learn this soon I got some to replace. Cost me last time £120 and the seal kit was only £20. Would be a good saving. Looks like you have done it before a few times ?
