    What is your favorite way to finish your cross stitch project?

      🤗 I don’t do very large pieces and I don’t have a very large house. Space is limited so I usually make pillows, also easier to store.

    This was so helpful! Just finished off my first cross stitch and it's not great but I understand the process and know how to do it better the next time. I have a set of 11 cross stitches to finish and now that I know how, I guess I can't put it off any longer lol

    Ty for the video; i'm a beginner and didn't know what to do when I was finished with a project, lol. And ty for the beautiful and FREE pattern! Now, how do I get my back as perfect as yours? It's a tangled mess 🤦‍♀️😆

    Do you use stiff felt or just regular felt? Thank you for your video!

    Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial! I just had a question, would this work if I’m using a rectangular hoop?

    • @HaileyStitches
      @HaileyStitches  11 месяцев назад +1

      I think so! I've never tried it before. But I think the only "problem" would be maybe some bulkiness at the corners. If that happens, you could try cutting a slit at the corners so the material overlaps rather than folding up and bunching to help it lay a little flatter!
      I'd love to hear how it goes if you do try it out!

    • @HaileyStitches
      @HaileyStitches  Год назад +1

      You can use any fabric! A patterned flannel or cotton would be lovely.

    Do you wash your canvas? I use Aida but it is always so stiff.

    • @HaileyStitches
      @HaileyStitches  Год назад +2

      I don’t because I like the stiffness but I know a lot of people do!

      @@HaileyStitches makes sense! When the fabric is too soft it’s harder to get even stitches. It’s harder to cinch in when finishing it though.
