Cute project. I first heard about sticky board from Priscilla and Chelsea, they talk about it all the time, I think they have a truck that backs up to the house and fills the basement like they used to do with coal. 😆

Thank you! I usually use hot glue so I really need to try & find some of that sticky tape. I also have never finished the back of a hoop with sticky board, such a great idea!

Thanks for the info Kimberly i myself find it easier to lace the stitched piece on the hoop add a little bit of batting an then glue my backing fabric on again thanks for your time

Suggestion: Instead of trying to cut the sticky tape in half with scissors - Use Ole rotary cutter!
Teflon scissors work great for this tape

I’ve searched for a good way to finish the back of hoop art. This is great. Just wondering how well the fabric/sticky board stays attached with the sticky tape - might use a hot glue gun or other glue, like Kimberly said.
Hi Gwen! It's stuck on there very well, but you can also use hot glue if you prefer!

With all the decorative stitches on our sewing machines...do you think one could sew on Aida cloth for decorative finishes/borders, etc.?
Hello D! No, because of the weave of Aida, you really wouldn’t see the stitches.
