Thanks for showing us the way to do a fresh cut cross stitch a wall hanging . You open my eyes to a lot of things that I don t have for creating something unique. This design of quilt cross stitch pattern is for Christian. But I want to see one for Jewish peoples. Many thanks again. Hope to meet again

I don't think there's a wrong way to use the sticky board, but I'm definately trying this way. :)

Quick trick. When using sticky board make sure you have a pin. I take the pin and run it between the paper and board. The paper pops right off without fighting. Great job on the finish!!!!

I've come back to stitching after a very long break and it's been so fun learning about all these ways of finishing projects. I've finished one small project so far and boy did I do it wrong! I put it on the sticky board the wrong way for starters - this makes so much more sense. Thanks for sharing!

    • @FatQuarterShopFlossTube

Hello Victoria! Kimberly used just enough to get it to stick and then lay flat. You are welcome to use more hot glue if you'd like.

Tried to click the link for the pattern and got an error (the pattern isn’t available, I guess). Still - cute finish! I was scared seeing you use the hot glue to secure the sleeve, but (duh!) then realized how light weight this project is at the end. Really easy and so pretty!
