Welcome back, I'm a new subscriber, but I missed your cool videos.. Nugget's bath was the best. Little show stopper! Have you seen the Slow Stitching craze?? Grab a nice sheet of felt, arrange fabric scraps on top however you like, and start stitching any way you want. It's no rules, relaxing and addicting. Don't EVEN get me started on making a fabric book...OMG!!! Peace and joy-

Great video. What's the best way to wash pre-printed fabric?

This is so much more thorough than my own lazy ass process xD
Should you always wash the piece first or only if there are stains?

I recommend always washing. The oils and compounds from your skin can discolor the piece over time, even if it appears clean visually.

Is there another additional way to make sure, the color doesnt bleed? I have a big BIG project with a LOT of red thread in it, like most of it is red in different hues and i need to wash it, bcs i work for a long time on it. But im really scared that any of it bleeds (it's all DMC tho).

I've had more trouble with fabric bleeding than ever with floss. I did have a skein of 321 that bled one time, but I tossed it and got another and it didn't bleed. Might be worth checking by dabbing the back with a damp paper towel or something.
But mostly, keeping the water flowing so it doesn't have long enough to soak up color and then soak that color into the surrounding threads or the fabric has always worked for me.

A bit of white vinegar mixed into cold water stops running colors

Thanks so much for sharing. But, I'm having a hearth attack of all that water waste!
