You not passing paint training is about as likely as the sun not coming up in the east. You, sir, have skills and clearly have (and are) a great teacher.
Thank you very much
lol, I was thinking the same thing. If he doesn't pass then all hope is lost for anyone else. hahaha
Ya me gustaría trabajar allí con tigo unos dias...
Me lo pasaría bien.
Sealer is direct to raw plastic but NOT direct to bare metal…that being said I use the BASF etch wipes on all my sand throughs before sealer.
It’s not easy learning how to slow down the application of basecoat like you did, especially after spraying a certain way for so many years. I had to do the same thing when I switched over to Spies Hecker 1 1/2 coat waterborne system. Great work. 👍🏽
Very interesting to see for an old former car painter. Worked at this for 26 years but then changed industry completely. So much has happened in the industry since I left.
The best channel for car painting.
Greetings from Sweden!
Best move you ever made getting out
Great job on spraying Glasurit Products. I always liked spraying the product back in the day. One word of advice brother, watching you slide around on your knees prepping cars and painting cars . Get some good knee pads. I have 2 titanium Knees now after over 30 years in the business. Keep up the good work updating us older guys.
Thanks for the tip!
Glasurit have always been top line finishes! Glad to see you master them as I knew you could 😉
I love how you laid that paint down. Excellent product and an excellent painter! You are a paint Genius!
Thank you very much!
Just started with CC here in Texas. Learning this Glasurit system. Thanks for all tips and for Pat being such a great insight. Keep up the great videos 🙏
Awesome 👌
Glass like. Nice freaking job my man.
Congrats on the successful training and a great trainer Patrick 💯💪
Appreciate it!
EB was the answer to VOC regs 20 years ago. This is the best current answer.
I spray envirobase and sometimes no matter how well I lay it out or get it covered I have to try to get the more course and finer metallics to not mottle but that one visit system seems awesome! 1.5 coats for that silver you did I think Thursday or Friday was nuts!
Thank you for the effort you put into these videos they help me out a ton!
💯👊
I spray envirobase as well and some colours are a struggle for sure. I always do a double control coat on metallic colours and there is still a little mottle on some colours
@@JMMedia I also do a double control coat. Sucks to fight some colors like that then see a system like this glassurit 100 line that seems much more user friendly.
@@outdoor_lifestyle_0149 I hear you man. It does seem like other systems might be easier. You can also try double coats for your coverage coats as in 1 medium wet and then pull back a little and go over it again straight away. Can help get rid of some patchiness just don’t go too heavy with it being a double
@@JMMedia Yeah I have found lately with some of the course and fine silvers that like to mottle that I wasn’t putting it on wet enough so now I am putting two nice and wet coats and it is seeming to help the mottling not happen. Before I would do my second coat lighter thinking I was avoiding mottling but it wasn’t because it probably wasn’t covered properly.
Excited to see what you have next in store for the channel!
😅😅 k man saying you wont pass is like telling an alcoholic they cant drink at a brewery tour 😊😊😊😊😊
Lol
Bro, we never had our doubts that you'd pass!!! Thanks for the lessons.
Well done Kandy Man there was never any doubt about you getting certified to use Glasurit it's just a walk in the park for you Sir👌the Tesla blue came out looking mint, I'm surprised there isn't a single visit clear in the new scheme as these seem to be getting more popular here🤔
Thanks for sharing your training week with us as it must have been hard enough without having to film as well👏🙏👍John UK
They are working on one visit clear
Kandy Man. You nailed it. I love that color. Incredible gloss. Who would have thought you would have to be tested to spray paint. Patrick is an amazing teacher as are you. Enjoy your diploma. Cheers
Thank you!
You have passed with flying colors in my book. Great job 👏 the best of the best 👌👍
Awesome job gents!
You rock!
Bro that color looks dead on. Nothing beats the 1.5 coats
Congratulations Brother! You are the man🤘🏻Have a great night!
Thanks 👍
Try and not bring the 90 m 5 Tom the end of the panel it will slightly darken
Man I would love to shadow you so I can watch and learn and get better. Great job kandyman. Great video series. I learned a ton just by watching them. I feel like I’m ready to spray it myself lol. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Congrats Kandy Man!
You did a good job on vtune BMW
Well Done! Welcome to the family.
👊👊

One of these days
"Doctor Kandyman" ... a "Doctor of Paint"
iI noticed you switched to the 3m gun for base . I noticed with that gun your application slowed down on the base coat keeping it more easily wet . What size tip on the 3m.
First time trying it with the 100line worked great. 1.3
Nice paint job brother.I noticed that you come back with the 3m spray gun. it seems like you like it more than the Iwata
Had to try it 💯
For sure, brother . I love it for primers but never used for paint or clear ,I'm still old school lol.
Woww good job👍
Great equipment, great product, great skills. Thanks for sharing..
Thank you
Question.
Do you not have LVA650 in the USA??
You add it into the PPG W.OW for bear plastics. Been using it for years here in New Zealand. Love the videos bra. Also I’ve never wet bed a PPG car in my 24 years of using it. Is it a necessity for ya our just a preference???
Thanks bro.
Haven't heard of it
So, what part of New York were you from before moving to Florida?
Brooklyn
Bet on your worst day you'll still pass. Keep up the hard work!\
What is different between wetbed and blending clear ?
Same
Did the trainer recommend spraying the base at 29psi? All my reps tell me to spray at 29.
