A lot of problems with young men is lack of decent role models and very often absent or abusive father's its within us all to be aggressive but with the right upbringing and environments we can channel that in positive and constructive ways. All decent men are against violence rape and abuse most men do not rape abuse or hit women. No man I know has raped abused or hit a woman. Porn is a problem with most men however and the internet is fuelling the problem.
You mean no man you know has admitted to rape. Statistically speaking, if you look at various websites such as : The Order of The White-feather, 1 in 16 men are rapists. So if you know 16 or more men, chances are one of them is. In my sixty years, I have never heard of any man, admitting to being a rapist.
So many women are raped but no one is a rapist .

Justin the Head boy of Canada I mean Prime Minister formed his first cabinet with the memorable 50/50 male female cabinet because it was 2015 lol. He also layered DEI to his cabinet interestingly mainly to the females. So while some experienced female liberals sat on the back benches some of his prime 50/50 DEI females received plum cabinet jobs. One outcome Justin couldn’t care a less about was he gave a new cabinet minister a sink or swim high profile assignment. She was meant to poll, nudge and move Canadians from First Past the Post to proportional
Representation. To make a boring story short in ended in a splash of fiasco and it hurt her reputation badly. She looked like a fool. The benefit to Justin was he made a campaign promise to change the voting system and he wasn’t going to expend the political capital to keep it. What did our male feminist do, took the least experienced DEI 50/50 political appointee and throw her to the wolves. Sister power.

Simple at a early age the majority of teachers primarily females tell kids to go to the authority figure to fix problems. They dont do anything and the only way the problem is fixed is by standing for yourself. Also kindness is good for maintenance but not good for problem solving.

Much as I'm not a male feminist supporter I think the notion that people own ideas is absurd. People can have what ideas they like and don't need other peoples permission to have them. If there are men who want to describe themselves as feminists well too bad.

These issues are more prevalent in certain demographics, just have to listen to the music and watch the videos, bet it never gets highlighted though.

Alot of kids these days are very neglected and violence amongst young boys emotional boys not having an out let and they take it out on each other. Its not just sbsant dads its over stressed financially mums who abuse their kids non of these parents are emotionally loving their kids there no outlet for deetress one kid i knew lived in a toilet in the park . Plenty of mums are over burdened and truly horrid to their kids men are usually absent.

I wonder why this podcast usually talks about "violence" as one-dimensional. Women's violence is for example less physical but everybody knows that psychological terror can be very harming as well.
Also family therapy should be in school alot have no relationships with parents that are healthy and there no affordable therapy. You have a mum who work 2 jobs to survive she negkects her kid is tired cant cope and he just gets angrier snd angrier because no one is talking to him and its toxic .

Michael is the British Jackson Katz. Both have been on the chat circuit for many years. What results has their activism had, in the UK or US? They deserve to be household names, but they're not.

We need alot more family therapy in schools too and mental health help. Alot stems from break down of a relationship between child and parent. Mental health has no affordable therapy and offers very little at the moment

Love the content. But male violence is certainly not problem number one. A small number of highly violent men cause almost all the issues. It is not all men. It is a tiny fraction of men that do the damage. Really don't like these blanket statements.
Well, its a tough one because in terms of percentage of population, you're right and I can sympathise with good men who feel unfairly lumped with that minority. But, if you look at the gross numbers eg in uk for year ending March 2023, 1.4 million women were victims of DV. Since I doubt many of them involved the same perpetrators, that means a little under 1.4 million men committed DV. I think as a society, we can agree that is far too many. So, the non violent men do simply need to step up and be part of the solution of at least reducing the numbers of offenders. Just like women need to recognize there are a bunch of bad apples in the female community too doing incredibly evil things to men eg false rape claims, false parental claims etc. We all need to hold each other accountable. Its very unhelpful to stick your fingers in your ears saying "well, I don't beat women". Good for you but too many men do. And thats just a fact.

And, as a sexual assault survivor myself, I tend to believe the women. Many of the so called false claims you mentioned could simply be women society refused to believe because they didn’t fit the image of what a rape victim is supposed to look like. And you, also, mustn’t ignore the fact that in a “he said, she said” situation, a man’s word always carries more weight. Women in the domestic sphere are not the “overwhelming victims” of violence, they are often the initiators of violence, often the perpetrators of violence, both against children and men. It is estimated that only one in twenty men report the abuse they suffer at the hands of women. Perhaps a public discussion on female violence is also required.

Yes I agree but there isn't a movement supporting female violence. I would say that mothers abuse kids more emotionally but also physically. They contribute to low self esteem and violence and also hatred to women. It is ignored and should not be. The only difference is fatal as in death is usually women who die. Universally women are the victims of violence that ends in death. Laws are not supporting rape victims and porn is full of rape trafficed women girl n kids. There isn't anything supporting female violence it's just not taken as seriously as it should be tho I would say mothers who are single parents are over burdened and often neglect because of having to work two jobs but I've seen alot stop looking after their kids emotionally. But we have many institution supporting holding up male violence rape from men to women or businesses money of the sex trade.
@@mmc1086 You clearly understand nothing about domestic violence. Statements like "well over 90% of domestic abuse is perpetrated by men against women" are feminist lies / propaganda with no basis in reality, and have been debunked countless times over DECADES.
Check out the Partner Abuse State of Knowledge Project (2013), the largest ever review of the literature on the issue. They reported that 58% of domestic violence in heterosexual couples is bi-directional, 42% uni-directional. In the latter case the perpetrator is TWICE as likely to be the woman as the man.
ONS statistics have long told us (a) women are much more likely to be abused by female partners than male partners, and (b) Violence is most commonly found in lesbian couples. Mothers are far more likely to injure and even kill their children.
You clearly need educating on such issues. A good place to start would be William Collins's "The Empathy Gap: Male Disadvantages and the Mechanisms of Their Neglect". The ebook sells for under £5.00 on Amazon and elsewhere.

@@Jenny-es1mw Here in Ireland it is reported that 4 women die per year, on average, due to domestic violence. 4 women in a population of approximately 2,400,000 women. If we were looking at the issue from the perspective of fatalities it would be a non issue. On average 25 men die per year in Ireland due to workplace accidents. We hear very little on the news about that issue. Domestic abuse includes emotional and financial manipulation, stalking, verbal abuse, as well as non fatal physical abuse. Women are also abusers and this is something the media ignore persistently.

It's nothing short of shameful that The Spectator should give a platform to Julie Bindel, one of the most men-hating radical feminists of her generation (and that's a high bar). But then The Spectator has commissioned 50+ articles from the woman, and refused to permit us to pay for a full-page ad relating truths about domestic violence which have been known to researchers, and published, for DECADES.
I've left a lengthy response to this matter on Ms Bindel's Substack. It includes hyperlinks to ONS data showing that women are almost twice as likely to be abused by female partners than by male partners, and the most violent couples are lesbian couples. Hmm, why does Ms Bindel never write about female violence? Why does The Spectator never give a platform to people who could tell the truth about domestic violence?

Bindel says it, or rather she compels her guest to say it, that she doesn't hate men, which is true. She basically has so much contempt for men that she cannot even bother to hate us

It's the same one used during covid, men being more likely to die, yet women still somehow more "impacted". Or about the Ukraine war, where men are conscripted and killed en mass, yet we're told women are the real victims, as they are left to "pick up the pieces.

I really thought we'd moved on from this 1980's pound shop feminist mindset, addressing the symptoms but not the causes. How much work has Bindel done on female initiated DV? As Bill Burr once observed, there's never an excuse for hitting women, but a DV incident doesn't just fall out of the sky....No attempt at an even handed analysis, just knee jerk accusation and incrimination.
