Contrapoints' latest video on Twilight has a funny mention of Shamela while talking about all sorts of historical literature in the romantic/spicy/pornographic genre that I think you'd probably disagree with some of her points since you sound pretty averse to that stuff, but she makes really high quality well-researched stuff that you might appreciate. I think she read some 100+ books in research for that vid alone. The "ravenous" comment was interesting cause I've definitely used that in normal conversation the same way the author used it. I might just be weird though
@ sorry in advance if I’m wrong, I don’t recall any graphic elements beyond what the Twilight films would show so pretty PG13, aside from f-bomb drops and diving way deeper into sexuality than a grade school class would
i don’t know if you’ve read the strange case of dr jekyll and mr hyde by rs stevenson but it definitely did resonate with me and it might do the same for you
