The piece that looks like a shield is the collar piece (you cut from ribbing) and the other piece is the fabric part of the waist (Those two square pieces at the bottom front of the jacket) I don't know their proper name
No details on the pattern as to how to print it out, mine came out kid size. Plus I didn’t know the difference between patterns A3 and A4 so since I don’t own a printer myself I paid to get all 34 pages of both patterns printed so I’m tryna work around that without using a different pattern. This info would prob be good to include in the future: how to print the pattern, let us know the differences between A3 & A4, even do a sew along for beginners. I originally commented before I actually printed the PDF’s, cuz I respected that you had a RUclips vid coinciding with your pattern but I NEED HELP 😂😮💨
Also when drafting the jacket pattern, it would’ve been nice to know why certain measurements were what they were, in case our measurements are different. Cornelius Quiring does that really well in his Demystifying The Process vid
The small rectangle that's drafted in the pocket piece is the size of your double welt pocket. The width is the width of your pocket and the length is the length of your pocket. And yes. You can play around with these measurements for a pocket that you want
The pattern is labelled. The file name Indicates to print on A3 or A4. And the first page of the pdf shows which size to print. When you print. Tell your printers. If you're printing on A3 or A4 at 100% scale. They'll take care of the rest. On page one of your patterns you'll find a little diagram on the bottom right that guides you on how to pack these pages (according to the page numbering) And there you have it :D
