Hi! is it necessary to cut out the back parts in two separate pieces? or can i cut it out on a double folded fabric? so that it is one back piece when im done cutting out the pattern?

Good question - since it’s not a contoured piece, you can definitely cut it on the fold to have one whole back piece.

Hi thanks for the video ! I’m a beginner/ intermediate sewing and I’m stuck at 11:00 how do I insert zip into the rib band and keep the zip on the right side of the jacket ? I’m a bit lost!

Hi Jill, thanks for the comment. For the opposite side of the zipper, you will repeat the exact steps from 8:30-9:20. Once you have pinned it from the top of the jacket to the bottom, enclosing the bottom portion in the knit band, you will then flip the knit band right side out. The zipper bottom will then be enclosed cleanly before we go on to attach the lining in the next step.
Hope that makes sense. Let me know.

I'm so excited to try this. Would you consider this a unisex pattern? I'm hoping to make a bomber jacket for a dude

Hi there!! Here is a blog post of someone's insight into using this pattern for a man:

      Spoiler alert: they don't recommend.

Hi Deb, thank you so much for watching! The pattern is available at the Mood Fabrics website, and the direct link is in my video description (toward bottom). You sign up for their email list and get access to many many free patterns. 🎉 Let me know if it doesn't work.

@@debtaylor5156 someone else had trouble last week -- I would try using another browser, maybe? Internet explorer --- Chrome.
Other than that, I would send an email to their customer support and see if they can troubleshoot (they likely get these messages all the time) or send you the pattern directly.
Don't give up -- all their patterns are really great!

Hello, what weight of the nylon fabric do you recommend and what weight is your nylon? Thanks

    • @Sew-Happy

Hi! The lining is a lightweight rayon blend.
