I feel gutted. I got the original Elgato Green Screen wishing it were the size and weight of the Green Screen XL. Ultimately it wasn't wide-enough for my purposes, so it has been collecting dust in my closet. I only wish this product came out sooner.
Thank goodness. My elgato greenscreen no longer stays up. Used it 4 times and bam. Now I need to use cable ties. Probably why you guys changed the mechanism. I am buying this now.
its awesome that its bigger. I have the regular elgato green screen, its great. Only issue with the XL is - too many moving parts. No matter how careful you are with it, something is going to break. Its just going to happen. I was was extremely careful with my green, and clips still broke off. XL looks awesome, just again, more moving parts is not a good thing.
Elgato, If you're so focused on streaming and gaming. Why haven't you guys made a wireless head with a broadcast microphone that has ClipGuard and can be paired with Elgato Wave Audio?

Question: how much taller than the regular green screen is it? I’m a caster for esports and I want to be standing up sometimes and I have the elgato multi-stand for my camera so I can do that. Only problem is that my current green screen is at the top of my head (I’m 6’0” tall). Want to know if this gets taller by any chance in that sense
Can Elgato try making a shotgun mic that works with their other products? I personally don't like having a mic close to my face or in a position where I can bump into the mic arm
Well i got mine today and to be honest compare to the normal version it feels cheap and weak the pole behind it is realy easy to lose its grap everything is thin the legs are so thin that i have the feeling the greenscreen will fall behind when i touch it without noticing and im not even sure how i make it roll back in its transport form cause there is somehow no force that pulled the green screen back what btw is a problem too cause when he stands he have crinckles falts im not sure in english but it makes waves and shadows like a planket.... i will return it and get another for that price feels much to cheap

You can buy any XLR shotgun mic and use it with the Wave XLR
