As someone who's been using the regular stream deck as an audio mixer for so long, i'm really glad this is now a thing

I have the stream deck and love it, using it every single day for work with After Effects, Blender and Photoshop, I even gave my brother one as a present and he loves it, too. I've just ordered the plus and I'm super excited!!
I've been on the fence about getting the Loupedeck CT to help with my Davinci Resolve Studio editing. The thing that held me back was no native support for DRS. The fact that Elgato was able to just instantly add DRS support natively just sold me instantly on this. Thank you Elgato, this will fit in nicely with my 32 key deck.
Now we need a Steamdeck XL+ with 8 knobs and 16 buttons

On one the wave XLR videos awhile back I remember asking if you guys could make a dongle to unlock wave link as am using my Wave:1 to unlock wave link to use with other mics.. you guys went far and BEYOND what I suggested and will be picking one of these up! Now to find a nice place to sell my Wave:1

At first glance, I didn't think this was gonna be worth the upgrade, but WOW!!! This is packed with awesome features! Now, I'm debating between the XL and this... I wonder if there'll be an XL version of this, too. Hmm...
Dont overthink it, with the pagination system this one has, you can stack endless apps very intuitive and organized, pull the trigger!.

I have a suggestion for the streamdecks : Triple multi actions by buttton
One simple press triggers first multi action (ie, launch app)
Double press launchs second multi action (ie, open the profile of the app)
long press launchs third multi action (ie, open the profile of the app on another stream deck, switch profile on the pedal, etc)
User should be able to leave empty one or two of theses options. ie if he wants some actions triggers only by double press or by long press
Stream Deck is very powerfull yet, but with double press and long press, there will be no competition. And one button could launch three actions.

I'm using GoXLR currently but definitely like the look of this.
My question is, would it matter if I changed from the GoXLR mixer to wavelink?
I've never used wavelink so I have no idea what's it like.
One other thing, I really want a wireless headset but I heard bad things about trying to use it with GoXLRs. Was wondering if there would be any difference on Wavelink for that?
I'm curious to see what third party developers come up with. I've heard that Bitfocus Companion is adding support for the dials too, looking forward to seeing how that pans out since I use some equipment that is only supported on StreamDeck via Companion. Will I end up having to wrestle with the C# layers made by the community to make my own StreamDeck plugin I wonder?
Looks very friendly user, all I wish for from elgato, my only request is: Please add volume controls for OBS audio. Once that plugin is running I think it will be perfect. I will make my buy since is the only thing missing and I know the quality of Elgato, surely they will fix/add the missing plugins later.

Is there chance that the wave link supports two wave microphone in the future? Because it’s kind of funny that I have to use a third party software because Elgato own software can’t support two Elgato microphone

This is a game changer!! I am actually excited to try this & test it on video editing & streaming!! Will this eventually be available with another row of buttons on the top half? Just curious if I should wait to buy one until that version is released. Because I LOVE my current Stream Deck! But getting this would give me so much more room on my desk if I can get rid of my giant Mixer & other stuff that this NEW Stream deck would replace.
We are not currently working on any type of XL version of this product, nor is one necessarily planned. As we pay attention to how this product is used by people and take in feedback this helps us create our product road map. Which could lead to a “stream deck plus xl” or maybe lead us to something completely different. But anything like that will be a while away so don’t think you’ll be missing out if you get this product. This is the best stream deck to get IMO

Can you please integrate with OBS so the spinning "endless dials" control audio on your OBS livestreams?
Also - can you please map the dials to Davinci Resolve volume adjustments in the Edit tab of REsolve? I want to bump up/down individual clip volumes.
I think I will buy it, I have faith elgato will add those features sooner or later.

For anyone holding out on getting one of these because of the possibility of one of those coming out, I would just get this now. Stream Deck released in 2017, XL in 2019, that's 2 years of use you would get out of this if you decide to upgrade, that's if it even comes out.
I'd suggest getting this now and using what it has to offer, but at the same time with the feedback I am seeing, it's highly likely Elgato will make a fully fledged audio mixer, an XL version of this, something completely different, or all of the above.

My friend, I have a problem. When I connect the iPhone 14 Promax to the elgato piece, the framerate drops to the 60 frame. Do you face the same problem? Is there a solution? I hope you can help me.
I would like to know if I can listen to the full/final mixdown of everything going to my stream from this? If I can't hear what is going to my stream, I have no way to know if the mix is correct or not. Previously, this was not possible with Wavelink.
PLEASE, PLEASE release a version of this with either more keys 12-16 or a version with no keys and just have dials.
Today, it’s Stream Deck PLUS. Next few months, it is Stream Deck PRO!! With better tactile button and layout. Based on a review, this PLUS it’s not in the same language as its predecessor. With PRO, it should have daisy chaining capability and USB hub ports. Too much cable is not FUN moreover PRO. Come ON @elgato !!
it would be great to provide more integration with all the Adobe software like Loupedeck does. The sideshowfx pack seems to be far behind what they offer. I hope to see more in the future (otherwise I will be regretting my purchase)
Is it possible to map one button to a set of specific actions (for software development)? e.g. enable VPN , open up two terminal windows, run client & server start-up commands within these terminals, and open up the code editor. What is the most efficient way to do it?

As always I just bought the MK.1 a week ago because it was on sale for 99 bucks. 🤦♂️ The plus would've been such a better choice. Would also love to see RGB panels from Elgato (like the Twinkly Panels).
My current set up has XLR microphones in to a QSC Touch Mix Digital mixer. The out puts go to a Persons Studio 68c USB Interface. From there via USB C to my 2021 MacBook Pro M1 Max. How can I integrate the Wavelink software, and other music sources?

I have 4 stream decks that I use for Adobe InDesign. I currently use one of the stream decks to control the one dial on my Logitech Craft Keyboard so this product is already in my Amazon cart waiting for my to hit BUY.
However, I have one question. I see that I can create a custom dial (which is what I need). In order for me to do what I want, I need to be able to run a script directly when I turn the dial clockwise and another script when I turn counterclockwise. A hot key isn’t fast enough and causes keyboard overflow (certainly with the Craft keyboard).
In other words, I want to execute a VBScript on my system rather than a hotkey.
Is this possible?
Right now no this isn't possible, but it's being looked into. This was on my wish list for launch plugins, but I think you almost touch upon the issue in your comment, tying a website or script opening to a dial is a bit tricky because there can be sort of a polling rate overflow type of deal - AKA if you do a full spin of the dial you're sending like 30 commands in the span of .2 seconds so there can be a massive delay as a result. So it's being looked into but there are certain challenges that have to be overcome for it to become a thing.

I love the concept and usability of these dials. They are everything the original Steam deck buttons stood for, taken to the next level. So I am definitely interested but... As one of the customers to go for to the XL model over the original one, I can tell you that 8 (normal) buttons won't be enough for me lol
No indeed 8 buttons is not enough although you could use this one particulair for controlling cams, mike and audio instead of using up buttons on a normal streamdeck to zoom plus and min you need 2 buttons on regualr streamdeck for facecam also the same for keylight functions so this plus version saves buttons on other streamdecks . I have the xl and the 15 key and a footpaddle (changing pdf , slideshow etc pages instead touching a button with a finger while maybe holding a paper in your hand or concentrating on what you want to say instead of getting distracted to look on the panel for a button.

Are there any limitations on the software for this for Mac? It looks interesting as a creativity tool. Could the dials control brush sizes in Photoshop?
I would think it could. That would sound useful for that type of thing
Yea it's all done via hotkeys so whatever hotkeys are available on Photoshop can be executed by this - the only difference between Mac and Windows behavior for this is is modifier keys so for Mac you'd have to have SHIFT+[KEY] as a hotkey tied and not just SHIFT.
Unavailable in Australia the website says "buy from our partners" with Australia selected and it just blank a shame oh well.
