Man gotham knights really just felt like Excs at warner bros didn't like the game and saw the back lash of Avengers and tried to get the devs to scrape up and create anything to make the game profitable and appealing but sadly it only half worked being a rug pull of a game that most hate and some enjoy and now we face the same problem with SQKTJ as this time it actually gonna be a LSG
They should have had rocksteady make it as a sequel to arkham knight. And with red hood using real, lethal bullets.
i knew the game was gonna be trash when i saw red hood having that mythical jump bullshit ability
This game & the new Assassins creed trilogy are the prime examples of RPGs done wrong. Infinite loot with constant levelling up is the worst idea ever

So far the problem for me with the combat is the input lag. It feels like I’m pressing a button and then waiting for an animation to play out which doesn’t feel engaging.
I also have an issue with it being so heavily animation based because you never know how long the animation will take to play out and sometimes you will get hit by enemies because you’re expecting a quick animation but then it takes longer than expected.
The lack of gadgets is also frustrating because there’s so many encounters with ranged enemies and the knights ranged attacks can be hit or miss at best and using the special abilities to avoid enemies ranged attacks only works every so often because of the cool down. There’s no cape stun or disarm or freeze grenade or voluntary smoke bomb to keep the combat flowing or to give any breathing room. It’s just attack and dodge over and over which is flawed and not assisted by something like the use of gadgets or special combat moves (like Arkham knights cape stun, shield break, environmental takedowns, or knife disarm).
The grab finishers are nice but again the input lag just makes it feel janky and slow.
For your range issue red hood shouldn’t be a problem cause he has a quick shot, bat girl double tap your bumper and she’ll pull them in( it’s faster that the batarang), night wing goes super fast with his momentum ability and it fills back up with every shot, and robin has the quickest throw, faster than RH’s guns or BG’s grapple pull.
I thought it was an okay game. I just wish the story was longer, and I wish it had more villains from the rogues gallery to battle more side quests that only Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin and Red Hood can do and that fleshes out more of their characters and their journeys that led them to who they are now. It’s still a decent game I just wish they fleshed it out a little more in terms of story.
I hope they come out with a dlc of damian wayne

EXACTLY THEY TURNED REVEARSAL INTO FKIN DODGE WAAAAAACK
-Made for next Gen when it clearly was meant to be be for the previous Gen
-The combat feeling the same with only a handful of differences between the characters
-No real updates + a game that was stuck in development hell for way way way to long
-Game aspects like driving feels more like a chore GTAV came out nearly a decade before it yet the driving aspect in that feels miles ahead
-Character interactions was the saving Grace but even that felt like a brief glimpse to what could have been
List goes on
The only game from last gen that comes close to this graphically was days gone and that’s single player. How’s this clearly last gen?
@@alexwilliams4729 No I mean they (the company) pushed for it to run on the PS5 Gen games when it clearly was meant for PS4 Gen
Thus the ending result made many way features sloppy then they needed to be

There’s a reason why some of the best looking games have online features absent, in separate modes, or it’s own game all together.

I really enjoyed this game until 8 returned t9 the clock tower near the end of the game and actually bother to craft gear and became op God tier and the challenge went right out the window with my attention.

Dude I actually enjoyed the game but oh my how OP the drone guys were, they were so annoying, it isn't even a skill issue, every other bad guy was easy. Even the manbats once I got the hang of it

They ruined the combat system and the turned the Bat Family into the Ninja turtles
As disappointed as I was with this game I must say I love going about the city just stopping crimes so relaxing

@@thedarkknightdetective2559 I did one night clearing the map and had 3 new suits, yes it sucks that you get look alike but there crimes are so fun I don’t care to do it with each character.

See number 1 problem is people are coming into this game after playing 700 hrs of Gotham knight with a fully loaded Batman. Your not fighting as Batman you are bat girl robin and knight wing and red hood. The game is fine although red hood should have had more gadgets then he did
Honestly bro i cant stand even looking at these animations anymore. I didnt finish the game just stopped playing. Such a massive disappointment tbh… u r giving the game way too much credit
Love this game. Amazing graphics, excellent story, combat system, strategy, crazy builds, it’s so immersive, even the photomode is awesome. When you’re done with story, you have heroic assault to play, and coop there is insane. Love the batfamily, but I’m not big fan of Batman. We really need more dlc.
the graphics is kinda bad comparing it to a game that come out 2015 (the batman arkham knight)
@@alexjackyperson101 not in my opinion. Arkham Knight is a great and beautiful game, but the graphics of Gotham Knights are way better in my opinion.

@@alexjackyperson101 have you played them side by side Gotham knights has so much more detail than Arkham Knight. It’s almost like looking through a window with Gotham Knights.
That Dodge button is horrible, even if you hit it on time you still don't have enough time to react to all the other enemies that are beating you up, some of the dialogue is woke and annoying😒🤮, but overall still a fun game especially in co-op mode. I recommend people give it a shot but I don't recommend spending 80 to $90 on it like my dumbass did😅😩🤣😭... get it for free if you can😅
Which dialogue specifically is woke? I’m genuinely curious.
I agree with the dodge, if they made it as dynamic as there combat it would be a game changer.
And stop with the BS enemy unblockables, who ever gets the hit first should be standing.
@@wishbone8027 The only thing I can think off is Barbara inviting Tim to the "pride" parade via email. Also they have the pride flag hanging in the belfry, which is silly. No American flag, but the gay flag is cool....BS!!!

I still don't see this fun gameplay loop. The combat looks boring, not even comparing it to Arkham it just looks repetitive and slow. This game looks bad.
