It's really cool actually. But damn, the story really got me. I almost cried on my playthrough, the game is really Heartbreaking. And the suits tho, they're fire! 🔥🔥 The characters development are awesome too, the relation between the batfamily is very well made.

I've been putting a lot of hours into this game, and to be honest, I like it. The game doesn't look bad at all, especially not graphically. The worst I've had are a couple of frame drops, but they are few and far between. Sure, you can screenshot a character in the menu screen and say it looks bad, but when in the city, when actually in motion, it looks gorgeous. Game play wise, it's not for everyone. It's a pretty repetitive after a bit, and grindy. The rpg elements makes some fights last way longer than they should, and sometimes it feels more like more of drag to fight enemies. Not because it isn't fun, but because it takes forever to kill a big guy sometimes. But, imo, the combat feels pretty great. The combat is smooth, and doesn't feel like your typical rpg. It's like a mix of arkham and spiderman ps4, but with stats and shit. The story is pretty meh too, I haven't finished it yet, but it is pretty predictable. But the characters and their interactions are great. They have a lot of small moments between the characters that really flesh out some of the bat family history. The customization is fun. There are a lot of cool outfits, and more to come. However, since this game is Stat based your forced to constantly change your gear and can't really keep a consistent look unless you use a transmog. Transmogs are skins you can put on top of your gear to have a particular look, but the transmogs are preset and can't be altered. Overall i think this game is pretty great, but only if it's your your cup of tea. I've been seeing a lot of hate for this game, and it's totally fucking overkill. This game is not terrible, or a disaster, or the worst thing ever. And for the love of God, stop calling it a mobile game, the only people saying that are the ones who haven't played it. I'd give it a 7/10. It's fun, but not for everyone.
Man finally someone to give an actual review, most people haven't played it and are calling it trash. I was one of those people but when I played it my god it was nothing like reviewers said it was. Combat definitely felt like a mix of spiderman and arkham and the only problem I've had is a few framedrops but damn the game graphically is better then arkham knight and you can tell on a 4k TV. Ngl I think we should stop overhyping Bamham combat. Arkham Knight was the only game in the series that really did something interesting with it, and that's most by throwing (figuratively) billions of different enemy types at you at once. Asylum - Origins you could get through most fights by just dodging, punching and hitting counter then spamming instant takedown when it's off cooldown. Also Avengers combat =/= Gotham Knights combat. If you think it is, then you haven't watch enough recent footage of GK gameplay or played Avengers. I wouldn't compare them(combat wise) just because people hate Avengers. And(and this is just my opinion) I really don't think Avengers has that bad of a combat system. It takes time to build up because it's an RPG, but when you fully build your character you can really get good combo flow going and genuinely dish out some sick stuff.

I actually think the main issue is enemy design more than the combat itself. It isn't that they're even poorly designed per say but it can kinda feel like they were made for another game entirely. Your flow gets ruined so easily that you get stuck doing the more boring combo routes the break armour or stay alive and THAT is why I think it feels like a Spider-Man downgrade. If you had more freedom to try and do whatever then I swear more people wouldn't complain as much and maybe could even find some cool tech like in Spider-Man. So I don't think it's great but I think people who say all you do is hit square and spam your ult either haven't fully upgraded their character or aren't trying to play creatively.

Gotham Knights is an…. Ok game, gameplay and graphics FEELS like a step down from Knight, understandable since it wasn’t made by Rocksteady. They kinda shot themselves in the foot making it a “sequel” to the Arkham Series since that heightened the expectations for this game. It’s still enjoyable, as a separate entity from the Arkham Series, if just to avoid comparisons.
The graphics are actually fine and I actually consider them to be pretty damn good, I bought the game out of desperation for something new to play and tbh, the game isn't as bad as people say and it's honestly a 6/10 but I could probably go a bit lower, it is nowhere near as good as the original batman games but I think it's okay but the main problem for me is that there really isn't a combo system nor a good combat system in general, combat is pretty bland which is important for a game again it's alright

And when I say this kind of thing about Elden Ring's graphics I get threatened by cringy nerds promising to deliver "Destined Death" to me. Elden Ring's gameplay, power scaling, combat, and exploration are still awesome though. The graphics just make it look like it was made for the PlayStation 3.
It’s actually not that bad. It’s pretty fun once you get past the early couple missions and start leveling up. I haven’t tried the co-op yet cause my mate wanted to wait to see my reaction, but it’s generally a fun game. The story is different, the characters feel right (yes, even Jason somehow), and with how briefly they mention Jason killing people, you could headcanon that he’s actually killing people to the dismay of the others. And the Court of Owls are genuinely terrifying, not that that’s a hard thing to do

It never got boring, the gameplay was always fun, the different combat style was good, it felt fresh, the graphics aren’t bad, etc. There are some graphical parts that excel where the Arkham games didn’t. Like the mouth movements being far more accurate and hair moving and looking like actual hair. The game is really good and people need to stop complaining about it when they haven’t even played it yet. At least give it a chance. I’m the context of the universe that you find out later on, Red Hood’s powers are understandable and it’s pretty fun hopping around Gotham. Speaking of Gotham, this map is so much better than the Arkham games. It’s so alive and vibrant. It really feels like a Gotham. I honestly love the game and it might be one of my favorite super hero games so far

The customization is fun. There are a lot of cool outfits, and more to come. However, since this game is Stat based your forced to constantly change your gear and can't really keep a consistent look unless you use a transmog. Transmogs are skins you can put on top of your gear to have a particular look, but the transmogs are preset and can't be altered.
Overall i think this game is pretty great, but only if it's your your cup of tea. I've been seeing a lot of hate for this game, and it's totally fucking overkill. This game is not terrible, or a disaster, or the worst thing ever. And for the love of God, stop calling it a mobile game, the only people saying that are the ones who haven't played it. I'd give it a 7/10. It's fun, but not for everyone.

Man finally someone to give an actual review, most people haven't played it and are calling it trash. I was one of those people but when I played it my god it was nothing like reviewers said it was. Combat definitely felt like a mix of spiderman and arkham and the only problem I've had is a few framedrops but damn the game graphically is better then arkham knight and you can tell on a 4k TV. Anyone who says it looks like a mobile game either hasn't played it or are playing some experimental mobile games that haven't released worldwide yet

I honestly give it an 8/10,just because they’ve put in a lot of work with different variety of interactions and animations with different characters during cutscenes,probably what most games wouldn’t unless they were passionate as the team was for this game. Batman in the comics and the animated series barely used his tech, when he did it was his grappling gun and batarangs now in the arkham games he is using tech that he didn't have before constantly, this is cool but not accurate to the old batman we all enjoyed but at the same time his tech should get more advanced leading to batman beyond and neo gotham which basically looks like a gothic futurist cyber punk city. Then we would get invisibility, rocket boots, metal claws, glider suit, c4 explosive batarangs, rocket batarangs which can fly after the target, enhanced strength and reaction time, super hearing built into the suit.

Ngl I think we should stop overhyping Bamham combat. Arkham Knight was the only game in the series that really did something interesting with it, and that's most by throwing (figuratively) billions of different enemy types at you at once. Asylum - Origins you could get through most fights by just dodging, punching and hitting counter then spamming instant takedown when it's off cooldown.
Also Avengers combat =/= Gotham Knights combat. If you think it is, then you haven't watch enough recent footage of GK gameplay or played Avengers. I wouldn't compare them(combat wise) just because people hate Avengers.
And(and this is just my opinion) I really don't think Avengers has that bad of a combat system. It takes time to build up because it's an RPG, but when you fully build your character you can really get good combo flow going and genuinely dish out some sick stuff.

I actually think the main issue is enemy design more than the combat itself. It isn't that they're even poorly designed per say but it can kinda feel like they were made for another game entirely. Your flow gets ruined so easily that you get stuck doing the more boring combo routes the break armour or stay alive and THAT is why I think it feels like a Spider-Man downgrade. If you had more freedom to try and do whatever then I swear more people wouldn't complain as much and maybe could even find some cool tech like in Spider-Man. So I don't think it's great but I think people who say all you do is hit square and spam your ult either haven't fully upgraded their character or aren't trying to play creatively.

Gotham Knights is an…. Ok game, gameplay and graphics FEELS like a step down from Knight, understandable since it wasn’t made by Rocksteady.
They kinda shot themselves in the foot making it a “sequel” to the Arkham Series since that heightened the expectations for this game.
It’s still enjoyable, as a separate entity from the Arkham Series, if just to avoid comparisons.

It’s actually not that bad. It’s pretty fun once you get past the early couple missions and start leveling up. I haven’t tried the co-op yet cause my mate wanted to wait to see my reaction, but it’s generally a fun game. The story is different, the characters feel right (yes, even Jason somehow), and with how briefly they mention Jason killing people, you could headcanon that he’s actually killing people to the dismay of the others. And the Court of Owls are genuinely terrifying, not that that’s a hard thing to do

Rare Cuban Crusher L. Just finished the game for the first time. It never got boring, the gameplay was always fun, the different combat style was good, it felt fresh, the graphics aren’t bad, etc. There are some graphical parts that excel where the Arkham games didn’t. Like the mouth movements being far more accurate and hair moving and looking like actual hair. The game is really good and people need to stop complaining about it when they haven’t even played it yet. At least give it a chance. I’m the context of the universe that you find out later on, Red Hood’s powers are understandable and it’s pretty fun hopping around Gotham. Speaking of Gotham, this map is so much better than the Arkham games. It’s so alive and vibrant. It really feels like a Gotham. I honestly love the game and it might be one of my favorite super hero games so far
