I'm sure others will agree, we really appreciate all the info you share with us bobcat owners. The info you give really clears up or covers in better clarity what is in the shop manuals. Now I scan your videos for a how to when I attempt a service or repair, before going to the manuals. Keep up the great work. Also I finally got my green gloves and again you are right. These things are AWESOME!!!!
Absolutely the best how to video on bobcat excavator service. I wish I had found this tutorial before I did the 2000 hr. service on my E45. Great knowledge you are sharing! Do you have a video of how to get air out of the pump? Already made the mistake of not getting all the air out of the system before starting the engine.
Thank you for such an enjoyable, detailed, clear explained and thorough presentation. One could not ask for a better instruction video on each of your important and chosen topics.
Thanks! I messaged you about buying the hose through you but it ended up needing to be more urgent than I could wait so I had one made locally. Wanted to send you a little for the video. My e-42 only got about 5 gallons out of it when I drained and replaced the filters. Since the service manual doesn't say to disconnect anything else I assume that this is all that is expected in a fluid change. The dealer sold me 15 gallons to make up for the 14.7 total capacity
Super helpful to do my own service. I just purchased a used E26 with 1760 hours. I've changed the hydraulic filters. Oil change next. Wish I had watched this first. Many good little tips on not making a mess. I'm a carpenter so any mechanical tips are appreciated. My controls seem a little slow. Thinking I need to bleed the air maybe.
I bought a used 2020 E50 from my local dealer last year, it just had the 1000 hour service. Still learning the machine, but really like it. Also bought a 2021 17k tilt travel makes hauling a piece of cake. Best of luck.
Excellent! I have a mini digger, 1.5 ton, Takeuchi TB016. I'm here looking for how to purge the hydraulics, having drained and replaced both filters (painful procedures). The instructions say to purge by loosening or removing a 6mm Allen plug on the pump, but doesn't say if the engine should be on or off. It warns that if not done properly it could destroy the pump by "cavitation" (?). But it doesn't say CLEARLY how to do it, what to avoid. Anyway thanks for the video.
You don't have to have the hose, if you remove the rubber boot off the fitting you will see a little round piece in the middle you can actually just push that down with a screwdriver and you will hear the air bleed out of it after you change your filter. Just do that a couple times and it should be fine
Hi Love all your videos. I have E35. New fuel pump, injectors, filter housing, she starts up and Purrs like a kitten. The only thing that happens is if you dead head any function or drive she dies. Need your help 🙏
It's a bummer about no anti-drainback valve in the oil filter. Certainly there is a filter that would work that has one. Bobcat if your listening, lets do it right. I want my E42 to smile :)
What kind of “pump” or what was that you were using on the hydraulic drain hose I’m going to do the hydraulic oil change my self tomorrow there’s a bunch of dirt in the system also as long as I hide the chrome does that get out all of the hydraulic?
What is the size of that coupler used to bleed the air out of the system. Trying to service my hydraulic system on an e50 and having troubling figuring out the female coupler compatible with what is on the excavator. I've looked around trying to find part numbers and information on the coupler and of course Bobcat doesn't offer any size information or compatible parts to go along with it. Is there a part number you know of or somewhere to find a coupler or hose to use?
I don’t see the link for the drain hose for the hydraulic
Part number on the hose and quick assembly for bleeding it please and thank you
Would you mind sharing this part number

Anyway thanks for the video.
How do you do a deep clean on the radiator you have a video on this, where you have to pull the counterweight
Thanks for your great work with this video. So helpful will really help when I go to do mine.
My E 35 that small hydraulic filter was under the floor board think I'll have dome hoses made next time and move it over there
Is it the same bleeder hose for the e32
Where to buy the vent hose and part number. Thank you so much for all you help.

Really appreciate the videos. What is the best way to clean all the radiator fins? Water or compressed air?
Thanks for your videos:
Question:
How do you reset the server clock on a E 42 B2vw14624?
Do you have to use that special hose tool for just the hydraulic filter change? I dont need to change the fluid, just the filter.

Great video, do you happen to have the part number for the hydraulic attachment “diagnostic tool” for bleeding the hydraulic fluid

Great vid. Thanks. Do these hydraulic fluid change/bleed tricks apply to my 2017 E20? Same methods etc?
Love these videos! Thanks!
Glad you like them!

Should you punch a hole in the oil filter before or after the oil is drained?
I punch the hole before I drain the oil. The oil draining is what helps suck the oil out of the filter.
@@tetradgroup thanks for the info!! I'm doing this on my next service 👍👍
😊thank you very very much you are so amazing

Thank you for the content. I just got turned on to your site.
Where do you purchase that hose that you made for the hydraulic oil to bleed out?

I've got a 331E, do you have any recommendations for non Bobcat brand coolant? DELO Elc?
Although Bobcat recommends Propylene Glycol if you flush and clean the system you can change over to any Ethylene Glycol (green) coolant.

I wish that Pope (?) Francis was as intelligent as you..
