@@100PercentZelda I had a problem, I made a save before flipping over the guardian at the peak and kept flipping it over until I got a ancient core a ancient shaft and a couple other things I forgot. But when I moved the guardian far enough it only gave me ancient gears and ancient screws. If I do it again with the same guardian will it give me something different or do I have to do it with another one?
@thegameexplainer4092 as long as you saved before flipping the guardian, it will always change. If you saved after flipping the guardian, you will not see anything after the guardian flips, but the glitch will still work. You just have to push the guardian to the spot to see what comes out
Here’s a helpful tip: If you’re doing the desert one (which is in my opinion the easiest once you get rid of 2 guardians), if you don’t have amiibo, there’s a chest up on Daval peak you can pull out of the snow and use. Just don’t let it roll too far away when dropping it down the cliffs otherwise it’ll despawn. Also I’m pretty sure your game won’t crash when you open menus and stuff if you’ve already collected the parts before.
As of January 2022, this still works like a charm. 🌟 Thank you so much for such an awesome and thorough guide! Fellow players, I highly recommend wearing Majora’s Mask to keep monsters and stalmonsters from attacking you during your travels! (Does not include wolves, keese, chuchus, octoroks, ofc.)
@@samavila-madrid9441 yes you can!! You can find regular ancient cores from decayed guardians and even some treasure chests! Same goes for giant ancient cores, except these are only in shrine chests, or they are rare drops from guardian stalkers, turrets, and skywatchers :)
Is it okay to go in any direction or does it have to be exactly as stated in the video? I went for the Daval Peak one and didn't actually have the tower complete to see the map in the south east. Ended up going north with it and all the way back to the big cliff at the Great Plateau. Surely that's far enough!?
Tips for when i did it: the guardian at hyrule castle is the easiest but i recommend to walk your path and kill all the guardians. there are like six of them and other enemies that bother you. After that, then you save before you knock the guardian over. There is a big metal door extremely close to the guardian that you can push with. Keep in mind that cores are very rare , it took me around 15 tries to get one. Good luck!
For anyone wondering, if you move against the guardian with ANY metal object at the same time as the metal object, link will gain infinite mass and be able to move any object ;)
I’ve always been skeptic of game glitches and haven’t tried many before. I finally decided to try this one on a 2nd file I started because I didn’t want to farm for the cores again and it actually worked. I was so surprised and happy! Thanks for the tutorial!!!

Do you need to be playing in master mode to get it to drop ancient cores or something? I've tried dozens of times and so far they've only dropped the things they normally do(i.e. shafts, gears, springs, and screws.)
As of June 2022, this glitch still works just the same. The game is no longer updating, so we can assume the glitch will work forever. While you are collecting the parts, I highly recommened wearing the 2 star rubber armour, or if you have it unlocked, the thunder helm. From my testing, after a while of being stationary, no enemies spawn, meaning the only threat is lightning, regardless of if you have a weapon there is a chance for lightning to strike you. ⚡ Wearing these will prevent any lighting damage, and if you are standing on the guardian, neither will the fire, meaning with the right turbo controller, after the setup you can afk it! Thanks for the guide!
I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this but the two guardians in water in Gerudo Canyon just above wasteland tower are also able to do the trick as well. I stumbled upon this by accident.
An important note: If you execute this glitch, be sure the guardian isn't on its head/in a position where you can't get access to the parts when the glitch starts. After the glitch starts, the guardian is almost impossible to move. Things like climbing also do not work due to lag. I went into my inventory and the game crashed, meaning I lost all my progress since my last save. I did not keep any of my items since then, including all the parts I collected. I'll have to travel all the way back to the place I got the guardian and make the trek again.
2023 and this exact same thing happened to me. i couldnt even save without the game crashing, thus loosing all the items i collected. i tried it three times.
@@BlockCheddar does letting it autosave after leaving the location where the guardian is at work? Mine auto crashed as soon as I went to save it on my own. Now I have to start the process over.
First time trying this--you make it look so easy! Did the Daval Peak guardian on the Western desert route and had to do it three times to get it right 😩 First attempt, totally spaced it once the glitch started and tried to drop my shield via inventory; crashed 🤦♀️ Second attempt, the glitch started and I was wearing desert gear through nightfall, losing hearts like crazy in the cold 🤦♀️🤦♀️ 10 minute heat resistance elixir + Rito gear + lots of anxiety = third time's the charm 🥴😂 999 Ancient Cores is a beautiful sight 😍 Thank you!!! As of August 2022, this still works! My first time doing it; I made some of the mistakes you mentioned (I went into my inventory to check something before I realized the glitch had started; the frame rate slowed considerably for a min but then I started collecting parts and it fixed itself...huh) AND there was a blood moon while I was doing it but it STILL WORKED! I was really worried about that so huge sigh of relief. P.S. The Lizal Forked Boomerang works for moving the guardian...probably not the best choice as I dropped it a few times and was unable to grab it with Magnesis bc of the sand (remedied by picking it up, dropping a different weapon and dropping the boomerang on top of that) but it was the only weapon I had on me that worked. I now have 999 ancient cores and screws, thanks!
Here's what I noticed if you already got the stones that regularly drop when you flip over one of the four guardians and you don't know what your going to get then do this. Right after a blood moon choose one of the easier guardians to move. "The one in the Mountains going to the first desert shrine" if you move the guardian the first time to that location to start the glitch and don't get what you want run inside the shrine, fast travel back to mountain location and repeat the process. I tried this twice, meaning I moved the guardian 4 times for the first set try. Each time it gave me these drops. 1. Move = screws + shafts 2. Move = Screws + Shafts + Gear 3. Move = Gears + Screws 4. Move = Shaft + Mini Core. Again I tried this 2x with same guardian during the same blood moon and got the same result. I recommend cooking up a speed movement dish also.
For anyone who doesn't have amiibos, you can still get a chest if you go onto your home screen, go onto the news at the bottom (in red), then go onto find channels and find 'Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Tips from the Wild', and go onto any article that gives you a present (hopefully you saved your game beforehand) then go onto the button that says 'Play The Legend of Zelda tm . Breath of the Wild', it will ask you to restart your game, but go onto it and it will give you a chest with the item from the article and you can use that! It will appear where you last saved, so where you respawn, so you migth want to save next to one of the guardians. Hope this helped! (and sorry it was so long)
DUDE I FOUND THE BEST WAY TO EXIT. While I was struggling trying to flip the guardian right side up- I had 3 crashes lol, and one of them had cores, shafts, springs, everything. Anywho- use an unopened chest to drag the dead guardian- then when you've had enough, open the chest. Your place will auto save, it won't crash, and when you load the game the glitch is resolved and you still have your parts :)

Yeah I was having a horribly hard time turning the guardian back upright- you have to get it exactly right and depending on the parts coming out it can take quite a while. I did eventually get the guardian right side up- but yeah opening the chest to trigger an auto save is clutch
There is also a handy little trick that can help speed the whole process up (sometimes, it’s a little touchy). If you’re using a chest to move it, you can stand on the guardian toward the bottom and pull toward yourself on the head of the guardian with a chest. This should help you ride along on the guardian. (Again, it doesn’t always work. It’s a little touchy.)
@@100PercentZelda Yes I think I pushed it far enough and I found the one by that metal door in East Castle Town I ended up having to go to Eastern Abbey for it to work and it just was not letting me pick it up.
I just did it and it worked just fine. I could even open de inventory to save the game multiple times and it didn't crash. The first time it crashed because it ran away while the glitch was still active. Tip: if you don't want to look for a chest use a bow. Also make a track out of pins that you want to follow in the map so you don't waste time opening the map and fighting enemies unnecessarily if you go out the way.
Want to stop the Guardian from dropping endless parts? Easy! Just stand it up straight, save your game, and sell the loot. You can knock it over again later for more parts, but if you want a break from the grind, leave it standing. You will want to be saving each time you have a full pocket of items.
This worked great, thank you! Though of course when I was pushing the decayed guardian through Hyrule Field, I saw a star fragment fall in the distance that I couldn't go get lol
Just done the by pushing the Daval Peak one into the Desert. Boy, do I feel lucky as I checked my inventory loads, to be switching up gear, eating food, and checking how many shafts, screws and gears I'd picked up. Only reading the comments now do I see how easy it is to crash the game. Must have been helped by the fact there was not much around me out there in the sand. Now I can make hundreds of ancient arrows, it should make clearing the path for the Hyrule Castle one a bit easier and I can try and get those springs and cores.
Awesome tip. Just tried it Jan 2022 and it still works. I chose the Guardian by Hyrule Cathedral (edit). First step: I traveled to Riverside Stable, then I ran to the castle + killed anything in my path. Then I pushed the Guardian from the Cathedral (edit) BACK to Riverside Stable via the standard trail to the Stable on the map, using a Lynel Crusher to push it. As soon as I reached Riverside Stable, the Guardian started glitching. Confirmed on multiple attempts. Benefits of using Riverside Stable: No enemies interfering with collecting the parts. There is also a treasure chest in the water if you need it for whatever reason (in my case, I used it to flip the Guardian back over and stop the glitch).

great video, well explained. that grid map is key but it only flashes on the screen. If others are looking for options, I use the guardian on Daval Peak, push it East through Nautelle Wetlands over bridge near mounted archery camp. Very easy push, all downhill except one little hill to push up and over.
That's an amazing guide, not far enough yet to do the infinite rupee glitch, but I managed to pull it off with the guardian near the desert... right from the beginning of the game too. I just had to cook a lot of food before hand to get to the guardian through the highlands. Managed to net at least 30k before I was forced to leave the desert since I didn't have enough food for heat resistance. But 30k can last me a while in the beginning part of the game. So thanks for that! I also found that the Lizal Tri-Boomerang also works in tipping a guardian over. It was a bit of a struggle but it can be done. XD
One thing I found out a few days ago is that if you are doing this glitch, leave whatever weapon you are using out of your inventory so that you can just flip the guardian back instead of running away. I ran away, so when I hit a auto save with the glitch still active, my game crashed and a ton of time was down the drain just like that. So always flip it back when your done.
Bro I was on a bridge and a Yiga Blademaster popped out of thin air and pushed my guardian into the water and couldn’t get it out. I’m so numb with rage for doing this for 3 hours 🤧
Happy to report that as of May 9th, it still works :D Also the fact the that it was the first time trying it and a blood moon occurred that night after getting to glitch to work 2 minutes prior. Thankfully my guardian stayed after the blood moon unaffected without the game crashing
Thank you! Managed to get 999 ancient shafts! Tip: just run away cos flipping it while it’s glitching is not easy. Game crashed one time but just time it right to make sure you get the glitch in the day. Bring it on a slight hill and stand under the guardian to collect it more easily. More a bit when standing underneath it to get the desired part if you keep getting same one. It took me 4 hours in game time to get 999 or close to it of each part.
This still works. I've been using the castle town guardian but using the door and pushing west down to the abandoned Lizalfos village. Minimal mobs on the way. Definitely need a turbo controller though - thumbs are sore!
I don't think I could ever say it enough, this channel is just perfect I like how you still make content of botw but the people that are just playing it love it, I hope you make content on botw2.
Tip: If doing the one where you must cross bridges, there are 3 things which may help... 1) metal crates work well for pushing the guardian. Check the immediate surroundings for these. I didn't find one for the Lanayru Tower guardian, but I'm sure at least 2 of the other 3 have one in the general vicinity 2) just before the wooden bridge, hang a left & follow the water line for a few feet. A land bridge will be on the right (runs parallel to the wooden bridge. It's easier to pull of ( at least it was for me). 3) whichever route you choose, using cryonis to create obstacles that help keep the guardian from going in the water.
I recommend using this glitch to sell some parts for rupees then use the infinite arrows glitch and then it will be easy to get ancient arrows and can one shot every enemy, also you need ancient materials to upgrade the ancient armour but note that you need giant ancient cores and can’t get giant ancient cores from decayed guardians.
Some tips!!!: the lanayru tower and the guardian at the military training camp are the hardest ones in my opinion. Also if you game gets glitchy when the glitch starts that is normal but whenever you may run your game may freeze for a moment to unfreeze just wait or stop running. When he says to stop the glitch flip the guardian right side up that works but what also works is pushing the guardian far away from the glitch point also stops the glitch ( it worked for me ) Also if you save your game during,before, or after the glitch and reload the save the guardian disappears Hope this comment helps you with anything extra the video did not mention!!
June 2024 and I’m playing on a Nintendo Switch, it still works. Other comments are correct; this is definitely a glitch and the game will start lagging almost immediately. Move around as little as you can, grab as fast as you can, and try to save. Thank god my game crashed RIGHT as I saved, so my progress was saved, but it was close. I certainly was not able to stand there and farm the glitch until I had 999, but I probably got 20-40 of each item so that (in my opinion) is worth the effort.
Love the vid! This still works, however a few hitches. Once you’re about 1 square from the original place, do not let the guardian out of your sight, or it will reload. Also, this crashed my game, so I’d suggest saving as soon as you get a bunch of guardian parts
While doing the glitch, if you switch to the magnet you will get screws. If you switch to stasis it will start to drop a different part and the same goes for all the others. It works for mine anyway.
I spent 2 hours trying to get it over to the space, but when I FINALLY got over there, my software closed :( And it was an Ancient core one as well lol

TIP: Once you're done collecting ancient parts, you don't need to flip the guardian back. There are times when the game will not lag too much (even if the glitch is active), wait for that timing and quickly save the game.
dont save anywhere near the guardian when its spilling parts. i just did this and collected the parts and then tried to save and that crashed my game :(
I started lagging as soon as stuff started pouring out and then I went into my inventory and game had an error. Will probably go back and try again and teleport away before that happens

Hi there, I just came by a guardian in a pond, and it seems like a really good choice for the glitch. It's in the F-8 quadrant, in a pond southwest of the highland stable, where there's a korok, right next to the "Puffer Beach" sign, when the zoom is max. It seems like a good idea to push it through the coast, and then to the stable, after that north through the bridge of Hylia

Tried this glitch today. Didn't feel like farming guardians randomly to get the Ancient Cores i needed to finish my armor upgrades. Used the one in the Geurdo Highlands/Desert. Took me a few tries before i got it to work but was worth it. Gonna use it to get shafts & springs so i can load up on Ancient Arrows

I tried the same thing only it crashed for me! I have successfully triggered this glitch twice and yet have never been able to save the results. Game crashed both time! *frustrated cry *
* NOTE* *You can pass time to skip rain and your chest and guardian will still be there* I’ve tested it multiple ways, places, whether you use wood in a random spot, or use a cooking pot near a stable. It helps to not end up freezing your switch and wasting a ton of time. Just make sure you flip your guardian back right side up and wait for the glitch to stop, and you can make you a fire right there and sit or sit at the cooking pot.
i'm playing the game 3 years late. i got the switch on xmas and i "finished" the game (on normal) one week later. but since i found out your channel in april you convinced me to get the dlc and playing in master mode has been really funny. love how you're still making videos about it. it's been super helpful
Works as of August 2022 and going into menu does not crash the game. I did the west desert one. I was able to stand in the shade of a mountain to keep me cool, and angled the guardian enough so I could stand right on the middle. adjusting where I stand adjusted which part I collect. (direct middle mix of all parts) (little to left or right for one specific part)
Pushed this thing from the Castle LITERALLY into the Lost Woods. Nothing is coming out of it. Except the first few items when I initially flipped it. Either patched or there’s a specific place you need to take it.

@@tommernes Yes, it just has a bit of extra jank from what I saw. You **shouldn't have to worry about the crashing though **Just from my experience, it hasn't crashed with a fairly large amount of pausing, but this hasn't been confirmed in a more concrete manner

Near the guardian by hyrule castle there's conveniently a giant metal door nearby that you can use to push it relatively well.

@@TsukishiroAnda Same happened to me but if you bring a Lionel shield and drop it you can use that to push it pretty easy.
There are also treasure chests in the nearby river which you can use.
Also, if you have an amiibo, you have unlimited chests that you can use.

For the one that you have to push across the two bridges you can use cryonics on the edges to make sure the guardian does not fall off

First time trying this--you make it look so easy! Did the Daval Peak guardian on the Western desert route and had to do it three times to get it right 😩 First attempt, totally spaced it once the glitch started and tried to drop my shield via inventory; crashed 🤦♀️ Second attempt, the glitch started and I was wearing desert gear through nightfall, losing hearts like crazy in the cold 🤦♀️🤦♀️ 10 minute heat resistance elixir + Rito gear + lots of anxiety = third time's the charm 🥴😂 999 Ancient Cores is a beautiful sight 😍

My first time doing it; I made some of the mistakes you mentioned (I went into my inventory to check something before I realized the glitch had started; the frame rate slowed considerably for a min but then I started collecting parts and it fixed itself...huh)
AND there was a blood moon while I was doing it but it STILL WORKED! I was really worried about that so huge sigh of relief.
P.S. The Lizal Forked Boomerang works for moving the guardian...probably not the best choice as I dropped it a few times and was unable to grab it with Magnesis bc of the sand (remedied by picking it up, dropping a different weapon and dropping the boomerang on top of that) but it was the only weapon I had on me that worked.
I now have 999 ancient cores and screws, thanks!

Here's what I noticed if you already got the stones that regularly drop when you flip over one of the four guardians and you don't know what your going to get then do this. Right after a blood moon choose one of the easier guardians to move. "The one in the Mountains going to the first desert shrine" if you move the guardian the first time to that location to start the glitch and don't get what you want run inside the shrine, fast travel back to mountain location and repeat the process. I tried this twice, meaning I moved the guardian 4 times for the first set try. Each time it gave me these drops. 1. Move = screws + shafts 2. Move = Screws + Shafts + Gear 3. Move = Gears + Screws 4. Move = Shaft + Mini Core. Again I tried this 2x with same guardian during the same blood moon and got the same result. I recommend cooking up a speed movement dish also.
So it can be different items each attempt? Like reroll it?
For anyone who doesn't have amiibos, you can still get a chest if you go onto your home screen, go onto the news at the bottom (in red), then go onto find channels and find 'Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Tips from the Wild', and go onto any article that gives you a present (hopefully you saved your game beforehand) then go onto the button that says 'Play The Legend of Zelda tm . Breath of the Wild', it will ask you to restart your game, but go onto it and it will give you a chest with the item from the article and you can use that! It will appear where you last saved, so where you respawn, so you migth want to save next to one of the guardians. Hope this helped!

DUDE I FOUND THE BEST WAY TO EXIT. While I was struggling trying to flip the guardian right side up- I had 3 crashes lol, and one of them had cores, shafts, springs, everything. Anywho- use an unopened chest to drag the dead guardian- then when you've had enough, open the chest. Your place will auto save, it won't crash, and when you load the game the glitch is resolved and you still have your parts :)

Yeah I was having a horribly hard time turning the guardian back upright- you have to get it exactly right and depending on the parts coming out it can take quite a while. I did eventually get the guardian right side up- but yeah opening the chest to trigger an auto save is clutch

There is also a handy little trick that can help speed the whole process up (sometimes, it’s a little touchy). If you’re using a chest to move it, you can stand on the guardian toward the bottom and pull toward yourself on the head of the guardian with a chest. This should help you ride along on the guardian. (Again, it doesn’t always work. It’s a little touchy.)

@@100PercentZelda Yes I think I pushed it far enough and I found the one by that metal door in East Castle Town I ended up having to go to Eastern Abbey for it to work and it just was not letting me pick it up.

I just did it and it worked just fine. I could even open de inventory to save the game multiple times and it didn't crash. The first time it crashed because it ran away while the glitch was still active.
Tip: if you don't want to look for a chest use a bow. Also make a track out of pins that you want to follow in the map so you don't waste time opening the map and fighting enemies unnecessarily if you go out the way.
"Software closed because of an error" i've spent 2 hours farming those parts, everything's gone😢

Want to stop the Guardian from dropping endless parts? Easy! Just stand it up straight, save your game, and sell the loot. You can knock it over again later for more parts, but if you want a break from the grind, leave it standing.
You will want to be saving each time you have a full pocket of items.

Just done the by pushing the Daval Peak one into the Desert. Boy, do I feel lucky as I checked my inventory loads, to be switching up gear, eating food, and checking how many shafts, screws and gears I'd picked up. Only reading the comments now do I see how easy it is to crash the game. Must have been helped by the fact there was not much around me out there in the sand.
Now I can make hundreds of ancient arrows, it should make clearing the path for the Hyrule Castle one a bit easier and I can try and get those springs and cores.

Awesome tip. Just tried it Jan 2022 and it still works. I chose the Guardian by Hyrule Cathedral (edit). First step: I traveled to Riverside Stable, then I ran to the castle + killed anything in my path. Then I pushed the Guardian from the Cathedral (edit) BACK to Riverside Stable via the standard trail to the Stable on the map, using a Lynel Crusher to push it. As soon as I reached Riverside Stable, the Guardian started glitching. Confirmed on multiple attempts. Benefits of using Riverside Stable: No enemies interfering with collecting the parts. There is also a treasure chest in the water if you need it for whatever reason (in my case, I used it to flip the Guardian back over and stop the glitch).

great video, well explained. that grid map is key but it only flashes on the screen. If others are looking for options, I use the guardian on Daval Peak, push it East through Nautelle Wetlands over bridge near mounted archery camp. Very easy push, all downhill except one little hill to push up and over.

That's an amazing guide, not far enough yet to do the infinite rupee glitch, but I managed to pull it off with the guardian near the desert... right from the beginning of the game too. I just had to cook a lot of food before hand to get to the guardian through the highlands.
Managed to net at least 30k before I was forced to leave the desert since I didn't have enough food for heat resistance. But 30k can last me a while in the beginning part of the game. So thanks for that! I also found that the Lizal Tri-Boomerang also works in tipping a guardian over. It was a bit of a struggle but it can be done. XD

One thing I found out a few days ago is that if you are doing this glitch, leave whatever weapon you are using out of your inventory so that you can just flip the guardian back instead of running away. I ran away, so when I hit a auto save with the glitch still active, my game crashed and a ton of time was down the drain just like that. So always flip it back when your done.
I did this and all my work went down the drain because I couldn't flip it over with a shield, im doing this in gerudo from the top mountain

Also the fact the that it was the first time trying it and a blood moon occurred that night after getting to glitch to work 2 minutes prior. Thankfully my guardian stayed after the blood moon unaffected without the game crashing

Thank you! Managed to get 999 ancient shafts! Tip: just run away cos flipping it while it’s glitching is not easy. Game crashed one time but just time it right to make sure you get the glitch in the day. Bring it on a slight hill and stand under the guardian to collect it more easily. More a bit when standing underneath it to get the desired part if you keep getting same one. It took me 4 hours in game time to get 999 or close to it of each part.
Knight's bow also works, easy to get and pretty good to handle as well (and the glitch still works february 2024 just in case)

Here is a helpful tipp I had to learn the hard way: what ever happens DON'T pause the game or it will crash.
This still works. I've been using the castle town guardian but using the door and pushing west down to the abandoned Lizalfos village. Minimal mobs on the way. Definitely need a turbo controller though - thumbs are sore!

Tip:
If doing the one where you must cross bridges, there are 3 things which may help...
1) metal crates work well for pushing the guardian. Check the immediate surroundings for these. I didn't find one for the Lanayru Tower guardian, but I'm sure at least 2 of the other 3 have one in the general vicinity
2) just before the wooden bridge, hang a left & follow the water line for a few feet. A land bridge will be on the right (runs parallel to the wooden bridge. It's easier to pull of ( at least it was for me).
3) whichever route you choose, using cryonis to create obstacles that help keep the guardian from going in the water.
I did this and then when the items started pouring out, my game froze I had to force restart.

I recommend using this glitch to sell some parts for rupees then use the infinite arrows glitch and then it will be easy to get ancient arrows and can one shot every enemy, also you need ancient materials to upgrade the ancient armour but note that you need giant ancient cores and can’t get giant ancient cores from decayed guardians.
This is definitely a very useful glitch =)

Some tips!!!: the lanayru tower and the guardian at the military training camp are the hardest ones in my opinion.
Also if you game gets glitchy when the glitch starts that is normal but whenever you may run your game may freeze for a moment to unfreeze just wait or stop running.
When he says to stop the glitch flip the guardian right side up that works but what also works is pushing the guardian far away from the glitch point also stops the glitch ( it worked for me )
Also if you save your game during,before, or after the glitch and reload the save the guardian disappears

June 2024 and I’m playing on a Nintendo Switch, it still works. Other comments are correct; this is definitely a glitch and the game will start lagging almost immediately. Move around as little as you can, grab as fast as you can, and try to save. Thank god my game crashed RIGHT as I saved, so my progress was saved, but it was close. I certainly was not able to stand there and farm the glitch until I had 999, but I probably got 20-40 of each item so that (in my opinion) is worth the effort.

Love the vid! This still works, however a few hitches. Once you’re about 1 square from the original place, do not let the guardian out of your sight, or it will reload. Also, this crashed my game, so I’d suggest saving as soon as you get a bunch of guardian parts
Mine crashed almost as soon as the parts started spilling out, so I got nothing after all that work. :(

Its 06.04.2023 and The Glitch still Works. But i dont recommend runaway to stop the glicht, my game crasht many time because of running away

While doing the glitch, if you switch to the magnet you will get screws. If you switch to stasis it will start to drop a different part and the same goes for all the others. It works for mine anyway.

TIP: Once you're done collecting ancient parts, you don't need to flip the guardian back. There are times when the game will not lag too much (even if the glitch is active), wait for that timing and quickly save the game.

So if anyone is playing and looking for this it still works in December 2023, although do not make my mistake and try to save while doing it. Take it slow and when you think you have enough push the gardian back so it stops and leave then save.

Hi there, I just came by a guardian in a pond, and it seems like a really good choice for the glitch. It's in the F-8 quadrant, in a pond southwest of the highland stable, where there's a korok, right next to the "Puffer Beach" sign, when the zoom is max. It seems like a good idea to push it through the coast, and then to the stable, after that north through the bridge of Hylia
it only works the with the 4 specific guardians

Tried this glitch today. Didn't feel like farming guardians randomly to get the Ancient Cores i needed to finish my armor upgrades. Used the one in the Geurdo Highlands/Desert. Took me a few tries before i got it to work but was worth it. Gonna use it to get shafts & springs so i can load up on Ancient Arrows

*You can pass time to skip rain and your chest and guardian will still be there*
I’ve tested it multiple ways, places, whether you use wood in a random spot, or use a cooking pot near a stable. It helps to not end up freezing your switch and wasting a ton of time. Just make sure you flip your guardian back right side up and wait for the glitch to stop, and you can make you a fire right there and sit or sit at the cooking pot.
I got close to Riverside stable and was able to sit at the cooking pot fire. And no Stahl monsters pop up that close to the stable.
i'm playing the game 3 years late. i got the switch on xmas and i "finished" the game (on normal) one week later. but since i found out your channel in april you convinced me to get the dlc and playing in master mode has been really funny. love how you're still making videos about it. it's been super helpful

Nevermind, lol, I only had to go like another inch omfg.
Works as of August 2022 and going into menu does not crash the game. I did the west desert one. I was able to stand in the shade of a mountain to keep me cool, and angled the guardian enough so I could stand right on the middle. adjusting where I stand adjusted which part I collect. (direct middle mix of all parts) (little to left or right for one specific part)

Pushed this thing from the Castle LITERALLY into the Lost Woods. Nothing is coming out of it. Except the first few items when I initially flipped it.
Either patched or there’s a specific place you need to take it.
it's not patched. If you look in the picture with the squares, the lost woods entrance is not 2 squares away from the original location. Try it again! You can do it! Let us know how it goes! =)
