      For 2yrs he fought for caged bridges. I believe they should all be caged as a matter of suicide safety. Don't you think less suicide jumpers (not all, but less) would be jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge if it was caged? Or maybe run a small current on the outer edge, where ppl don't need to get to. Idk. Back in 1990s, before I had a cell phone I hit my brakes when I saw a teen on top of a cage! I went to nearest payphone (yeah, they still had those back then) & was told by 911 they had several calls about it & were on their way. I have a feeling it was a 14yo challanging himself to go from one end to the other on the outside of the cage. I hope his parents let him know he was to never try that stunt again. But all bridges should be caged, none the less. Including Golden Gate. 🙀😿😾

    • @kricketlangendoerfer8387
      @kricketlangendoerfer8387 4 года назад +2

      As for his suicide, idk. There are partners both men & women who don't chicken out as he did. I don't know what kind of grief counseling he was recieving, but his vows must not have included in sickness. He was selfish when he felt trapped. If it had been him in the front seat would she have killed herself cuz he wasn't the same? Women are expected to be the stronger sex. The nurturing sex. She wouldn't have deserted him like that. 😾😾

The dispatcher acted like she had something personal against her, she could've found a better way to say things while trying to calm her down! Hell, its hard for someone to just calm down and act like it's nothing, especially when a random person is trying to run you off of the road, and keep side swiping your car from left to right! Some of these operators need to be fired!!!
    This lady at the beginning.
    My god she is rude, and continues to cut off the hysterical woman! She's making the situation so much worse.

    This is the 1st time I've heard an operator say:
    "I'm so sorry you had to see that".
    I listen to a lot of 911 calls, I do it to hear the way the operator handles the call because I have heard some crazy stuff in some of these calls but the craziest thing I hear is operators sounding all kinds of inappropriate ways.

    "Mam i gotta keep transferring you to different jurisdiction"??? What? They kidding right? Oh come on i can understand traffic violations ,theft, or disturbanccs BUT getting assaulted by a vehicle whose trying to kill you and also putting hundreds of cars in danger they transfer? Now i now it shocked me when hearing it took almost 30 min if she was on the phone and was telling them where she was what freeway what light it should NOT have taken that long,period!

    Dome of these operators NEED to LISTEN to the caller and show compastion. Terrified and calling for rescue can be very hard to concentrate, talk, notice surroundings, and drive or SURVIVE. Do NOT blame or shame the caller while they are trying to communicate the problems to you!

    The mother who killed her daughters did it purposely and on his birthday to spite/‘punish’ her husband because of an upcoming divorce. That’s cold and twisted on so many levels. I hope he’s found some kind of peace in his life. It will be torture every year on what’s supposed to be a happy day.

    These 911 operators need to tell the caller that they already have help on the way and answering their questions isn't slowing anything down. So many callers think they need to answer a million questions before help is sent. It would really help a lot of people calm down a little bit and reassure them during the worst moment of their lives. Geez.
