I love the E30 BMWs. They look so well proportioned and handsome. I remember our neighbor giving me a ride to school way back in ‘89 in his basic spec 316; carbureted -I don’t think it was the injected version-, steel wheels, black door inserts, and wind-down windows just like yours). There was a clear stretch of road before the traffic jam started and he floored the gas in first. The rear end dipped gracefully and the tiny carburetted 1.6 engine raced to the redline with a beautiful metallic sound. Now mind that I had only travelled in Fiat 131s, or Ford Taunus so this vigor and sportiness was unlike anything I had seen before. I have another memory watching a E39 540i (which is where your car’s engine comes from I understand) keep up with me on my ‘97 ZX-7R during a roll-on from 80 kph to 180 kph or so (I was in sixth all the time but still) but I don’t want to bore you any further 😅. Nice video, please do a walk-around video and tell us a bit more about this fantastic car..
