Where did you find the papers you had with torque specs?

If you want Raw sound .. Go through a Tunnel or put a mic near the rear. Your over blipping for show. Ive raced an RS 250 & Used my spare RS for the roads for fun.. Nice coverage though.👍

dein Vergasersetup passt nicht, unter 7800 läuft die wie ein Sack Nüsse - viel zu fett und unrund. Vermute mal du hast den 34er Dellortho drin mit 155er Haupdüse - oben ist sie minimal zu mager 1-2 Düsen größer (158-160) dann geht auch das stottern bei 9-10k noch weg und sie entwickelt mehr Drehmoment

Had 2 srads fi and carb,mate good video but stop being scared of corners that srad can corner trust the bike and go stop slowing down for slight curves.you will see what that old machine can do.

I’ve owned a 1995 model years ago, it was absolutely perfect for what it was intended and built ; frequent overhauls, peaky engine are just part of the game, one of the best 2 stroke easily available on the market !!…

V-Twin bikes are more enjoyable to listen too while riding, I have an Aprilia RSV1000R and kawasaki Z900, and by far the aprilia sounds way better.

I had that exact model and colour. Loved it. Eventually sold it to move on to another bike. But now I'm looking to get another one. I miss the ole ZRX. The green definitely looks the best. Great video. And stunning scenery. Thanks for the upload.

Super nice ! Kannst du vll mal ne Nahaufnahme machen wie die Luftschläuche genau am Vergaser angeschlossen werden ? Mit den Bildern aus dem Werkstattbuch bin ich mir leider nicht 100%ig sicher. bei 30:00 sieht man´s ein bisschen. Da geht ein Schlauch von diesem bronzefarbenen Kästchen links nach hinten auf diese kleine schwarze box. wo geht der Schlauch direkt daneben hin ? Der Schlauch, der quasi im braunen Überlaufschlauch vom Vergaser verschwindet ? Geht der an den linken Vergaser auf den weißen Anschluss auf der rechten Seite neben dem Benzinanschluss ? Und der Schlauch direkt darunter, welcher an die schwarze Plastikspitze der "Box" geschoben wird... mündet dieser in das T- Stück, wobei beide Enden dann jeweils auf den weißen Anschluss links unten der beiden Vergaser gehen.. ist das so korrekt ? Hoffe du verstehst mich :D

My first bike was a 1978 RD400. Keep those revs up boys on a 2-stroke unless you like de-coking pistons. Lovely seeing the German countyside again. I was on a German/Canada student exchange 2 billion years ago in the 1980's, beautiful people, beautiful country.

Seems like a newish rider. Careful, that's a powerful bike that doesn't handle great. I hope you're still alive. Also I suspect your bike is jetted rich. Rejetting it will yield a lot more power and responsiveness. I recommend rejetting it and finding some Boyeson reeds- you'll be stunned at how much power that unlocks. Nice bike, thanks for the ride along.

I had the j2 engine in mine, excellent bike for the era, a real hard hitter. Great value bike that could hammer some expensive machines into oblivion. Good times. Thanks for this little cruise, a trip down retro street . I now have a 95 gsxr 750, and will never part with it. The last of the cradle frames which I couldn't afford as a young lad in the early 80s. 💯
