And it costs 12 cents/km if I push it. I have a Mercedes E500 as well and I love it, but it can't compare to the incredible EV torque. And the Model 3 never loses traction. I beat any 63 AMG model in the rain.

@@eliasdurl6830 I was writing a reply and read too late that you are also from Belgium. This is the only country where it is a PITA to get any kind of modification street legal. "oh you have 10hp more? Illegal!" Meanwhile in Germany they have a 500hp E30 ...
@@dokterkarelGermany is also pretty strict when it comes to modifying your car (aftermarket parts need a TUV approval) and in the Netherlands you need to have checked your car by RDW if it gets like 30%+ hp (unsure bout that number). Don't know if this beauty went the official route..

As the owner and builder of the car I can tell you there is a Tüv like check you need to complete (RDW) but if its properly done they don't mind needs to be a pre 1996 car tough or else it gets a lot more complicated

That car is insane. I would be really afraid to drive all that power on such an old suspension. No ABS, no servo steering, no tracktion control. For sure I would end up in a ditch after passing a first curve. I still wonder how this car can be street legal.
Such a cool car. The fact that the tachometer doesn't work was really bugging me! Also re: the short gearing, E36 gearboxes (ZF310/320) have such terrible ratios. Unless you got cams and springs ($$$$) and raised the rev limiter to 7,000rpm you drop below peak torque with the turbo every shift and 5th gear is 1:1 not even overdrive! When I had my turbo E34 it was so annoying to have to find a 2.93 diff for the highway miles. I had to have an E30 diff put in an E34 case because I don't think 2.93 LSD was ever in any E34s. It was just unacceptable to me to be over 3,000rpm at 75mph though so I had to do it, 3.23 wasn't enough. 6 speed swap was too expensive.
Fun car, cheap build accesible for anybody, BUT welded diff is NOT a proper solution for daily driving OR for autobahn at high speed, also that isn't a "BIG TURBO" as you written, but kind of small to medium turbo. Big turbo starts from GTX42 and up.
I was stupid not to by 320i 4 door in perfect condition 13 years ago. An older guy bought it for his daughter which went abroad barely drove it. It had around 40.000km and guy was asking 4k euros. 😖
I don`t think this has a welded diff, it would have been noisy as hell when taking a corner. Also would have been insane to take it out on the autobahn.
Just a question, why not change to the Insta360 camera? They rarely overheat and have the added benefit of 360° view for shots that need the forward and rear view
@@memorimusic420 agreed, but Insta has a accessory head mount and a POV setting (not a fan boy, just impressed that they have managed to that whilst GoPro hasn't changed that much)

@adhirsingh8614 yeah but rigging a camera on your head is definitely not something people do (especially not for youtube). Having them inside the car to film sure but its just not an easy to use solution

@@noddey And this does compensate the loss in bore potential? I mean Aluminium is not ment to be strictly instable on high HP and NM. The more problematic parts are rather Pistons and rods, which you should replace anyway in cases of Tuning of this Kind.
Misha rocked this car on the nurnburgring also, and he payed fore the painting after hitting a barrier, because of brake failure.

Car inspection is a thing in almost all countries I think but yes indeed laws are also different in every country.

Why no clutch on startup?
Because the pressure plate is extremely stiff and there is no oil pressure at startup axial bearing on the crankshaft doesn't like that
fake "power" number, 500hp must run 6 sec 100-200
