Their choreography is always super tight. Perfectly synched, never a misstep. And they can all sing while doing it! Even if their music isn't your cup of tea, you can't deny these guys are total pros. Respect is due!
Being a tight family unit helps, they are naturally in sync having dancing together since they were young kids. And some of the songs they put out sounded great and still do today, my favourites are Going Home and Down By The Lazy River.

Maybe no lip syncing in this video (I haven't watched it yet), but they lip synced much of their career. Donny Osmond reveals in his book that they had a sound track tape called "Melvin" that they used routinely. They lip-synced to songs that they had not rehearsed and therefore could not have sung live if they tried. They even lied to the audience one when Melvin malfunctioned and said they would now do the song live, when in fact they were just buying time for Melvin to be reset.
I was totally amazed by Donny’s talent during The Masked Singer. He sings and moves like a man half his age and is still gorgeous. I’m sure I’m not the only one watching some of these old videos because of the well-deserved renewed interest in his work.
These videos renewed more than Donny's past work, but they renewed my crush on The Osmond Brothers. For five white Mormon boys, I would made sure that they had some black in them...or on them! 😏
This is awesome. They are really great and that was live singing and Live music. They sang on key, in time, did aerobics and they aren't huffing and puffing AND I don't think they made a mistake. I love the 5 part harmony at the same time spin in a circle and stay in front of the mic that's on a stand. Don't miss a note. I also love that they all got to sing lead.
I love this family!!!! They gave us so much great entertainment and songs wishing them nothing but the best in life and praying 🙏 for them all thank you Ormond family for the great music and entertainment you gave us all ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Oh my goodness, I have loved them since I was little from watching them on The Andy Williams show. I'm 6 months older than Donny. Do I remember those magazines?! Let's just say I bought every issue that came out including "FAVE" do y'all remember that one? I had a canopy bed so I had my daddy take my canopy off & put Donny's life size poster on my ceiling over my bed with thumb tacks!! He was the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes in the morning & the last thing I saw when I closed them at night! I had everything that came out if it was the Osmonds !! I am pretty sure that I have no clue how to steal a video. I am SO grateful that you have shared these with us. My friends and I went to Las Vegas in 1977, We were 17 and 18 years old and went to one show per night for 7 nights. Love this one, and 50's and Singing in the Rain, and Memories, Karate. We were so so lucky that our parents let us go. I saved my money for a year. My Mom said if I save the money and get grades over 70% I could go. Well, my grades slipped but I saved $700...enough to go. My mother was HORRIFIED, but kept her word and let me go. I called home twice or three times to say I was ok. Time of my LIFE!!!!
Pure entertainment, well done lads , this mega melody is fab Thoroughly enjoyed this; thanks f the memories an incredible experiences of 1st love moments
Soul brothers.. Man, Merrills got some lungs on him; sheeesh the lads sure have some moves on them; feet perfect an synchronisation perfectly executed. Electric atmosphere an confidentially performanced
I haven´t heard this song since I was a kid in the 70´s and I remembered it almost completely. In my country the Osmonds were very popular and we watched their shows on TV. And I remember the specials of Christmas and New Year with the Osmonds. By the way, it is impressive, not only the show per se, but that they avoided the strings of the microphones perfectly without looking at them. They are great!
it is a great shame that after they got married they let their self go. OMG Merrill look's like he was in his 80s . Now it is just sad to watch them prance around on stage trying to recapture their youth. . It is like watching my 40 year old nice chasing after the. Back street boys.
I bought 16 magazine and Tiger bea just about every month if not every week just to see new photos of the osmonds and David Cassidy those two were my favorites had my room plastered with their pictures so many memories ,happy memories.
I was so infatuated with Donny in the 70s that I never paid attention to the detail of how much all the brothers made this group. Especially Merrill as a lead singer. How I would love to go back in time and sit in the front row and watch one of their concerts again. Today's generation doesn't know what they're missing. The energy and dedication they put in their shows was amazing. I was lucky to meet them after a concert. One of my best memories.
Alan..blue..Wayne.. orange...Merrill...black...Jay...green....donny....purple...Jimmy...red.bless them all.struck by so much illness. Not forgetting Vernon and Troy who were born deaf. Will always LOVE YOU.You made my teenage years bearable.xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Omg what a blast from the past!!! I was backstage with the Osmonds along with Mom and Marie when they played at Madison Square Garden in the early 70’s and got great pics too!!! 🌈☝️✝️☝️🌈
I would never steal and I don't reupload and etc. it is a shame that u don't want to share such wonderful music for the sheer delight and happiness of others I have seen most of these for free on the internet in varios locations but just the same to Dave thank you for sharing i know the Osmonds aten't making money off these and would be glad fans who are not able to purchase from indivuals who can't afford to are enjoying the music anyways from generous souls like Dave you show Osmond spirit willingly thanks

Time of my LIFE!!!!
free youtube download and dvdvideosoft both free and easy to use … just saying
This is so awesome. @@@
I never realized how great they danced! Iguess I was too young then. Great to see such a great talent!
I love the conductor
Conductor HB Barnham
Pure entertainment, well done lads , this mega melody is fab
Thoroughly enjoyed this; thanks f the memories an incredible experiences of 1st love moments
They were so perfect ❤
No awkward moments - talent galore - instruments, , vocals, dance, writing their songs - say anybody like them nowadays????
I grew up listening to the osmonds. Went to a Osmond concert in Tucson, Arizona when I was 16 years old.. Many many years ago
They were amazing & so professional - not surpassed
The Osmonds are all so handsome, talented and kind people!!
I miss the 70’s!!!!😢
me too!!
Same here
Yeah, Alan can't keep on task, Wayne is totally deaf, Jay got out of entertainment again and Jimmy probably won't ever get back on stage either.
I only miss the '70's music!! The rest were growing pangs.
It really is so awesome... that choreography!!!!
wow they really worked soooo hard at their performances .....& they rocked it !
it is a great shame that after they got married they let their self go.
@belindarodriguez2893 Me, too! Bobby Sherman as well ❤ ❤❤
When I was a kid I used to think Donnie had the best voice but now watching this Merrell has a much more Soulful voice
Merrill always and still does have the GOLDEN VOICE....
The Osmonds are the best...Don't forget they were one take Osmonds...they learned and did it in one take...Amazing men..Merrill loved his voice..
Yes, of course, I loved Donny, but I loved Merrill's voice!!!
Lucky🎵‼️
Their energy and work ethics are impeccable. Nobody can match it.
The Jackson 5 could and did.
Nancy, I agree!
@@DCB728 Wrong!
@Jessi Wrong!
@@DCB728 We all have our own likes. I loved the Jackson Five, too, but The Osmonds were a great group, also.
AWESOME!!!
What showmanship!
I think they are amazing. Donny did amazing on the Masked singer. He was doing Las Vegas too at the same time no one else would have done that .....
Virl and Tommy!
VIRL and TOM - They were named after father and grandfather Osmond.
Vernon and Troy. The long lost Osmond's...😛
I can say for sure I got my cassette player and taped this show, because I listened to it for years after that!
To perform like that and not trip over the mic wires was a talent all in itself. 😊
yeah that's true..😊
That's what I thought! Singing, dancing, jumping rope...
This is real music. They knew how to sing and dance will always love the Osmands
1000% pure talent.
