I am age 61. If I could pick a decade of my life to return to, it would be the ‘70’s. My parents were in their late thirties, early forties. The simplest things in life made you happy. Families did most everything together. I remember the fun we used to have going to the drive- in movies. Mom’s making homemade birthday cakes and having big birthday parties, inviting your friends and all the kids in the neighborhood would play, ride our bikes from sun up to sun down. Christmas was such a huge deal. Kids didn’t get presents all of the time like they do now. There was more socialization without the advent of social media and iPhones. Nice to recognize Stevie Wonder, the greatest albums of the 70's. His production of multiple perfect records in a row is unbeaten. Imagine what we would have had if he had not been in that serious accident which gave him serious brain injuries, and interrupted his flow.
Wasn't that car accident right after 'Innervisions' came out, though? So he still made 'Fulfillingness' First Finale' and 'Songs in the Key of Life' after recovering from it?

I loved this so much, so entertaining. Cher had her own show after Sony and Cher, she had amazing guests such as the Osmonds. Honestly this was so great to watch, everyone was so young...just love it and will always love Cher and the Osmonds...including Marie.❤❤
Donny really is the only Osmond that sticks out
Yeah the rest of them are pretty rough looking
Shallow comment
I only wish that The Jacksons and The Osmonds would perform a crossover tour just like The Four Tops and The Temptations did!
Omg! One of the best medleys!!!!
YEAH!!!!
I was sooo in love with Donny Osmond!
Cher can sing with anyone and any style. What a super talent.
Love this!!! Legendary
Cher could sing for sure, I’d forgotten.
The Osmonds I’d also forgotten how well they could harmonize.
🎶
This is great to see this. Nostalgia at its finest. Always watched Sonny & Cher & the Cher show. I’ve always admired Cher who has a Great Sense of Humor, is a Great Actor, Beautiful, and, of course, has an Awesome Singing Voice. Nice🤙🤙
Queued up overnight to get Osmond tickets. My first concert. Aged 14. Same birthday as Donny. They were FAB 😄
Fantastic arrangements, fantastic performance ... and it's LIVE.
If this were a movie it could be called The Good the Bad and the Blind.
Brilliant and horrific all at once. I LOVE IT!
More the latter.
약 50년 전 음악이라니... 지금 들어도 전혀 촌스럽지 않네요..대박...
Totally Rad Dude!! 😁
I love how cher can make any song her own. Her distinct signature voice , you definitely know it's the one and only Ms Cher!!!!
God I love this!!
💃 That's Cher ,Her music is signed sealed and she delivers, The most wonderful music in the world 🌎❤️❤️❤️❤️😄 Lovvvve Cher 👑
I never got to watch this show as a child.
I'm glad I can enjoy it now.
Cher has on great guests and is a gracious, generous preformer.
✌️💜🕺💃 Priceless classic timeless love this and takes me back 💃🕺✌️ Good memories ❣️
It was the times baby!…Groovy!
Loud colors were the thing plus the jumpsuits and bellbottom pants 👖

Hello 👋how are you doing?
I don't remember the '70s ever looking this '70s
Nice to recognize Stevie Wonder, the greatest albums of the 70's. His production of multiple perfect records in a row is unbeaten. Imagine what we would have had if he had not been in that serious accident which gave him serious brain injuries, and interrupted his flow.
His Early 1970s Concerts..
Well 50 years ..Later ..people still Talk about Em..
Wasn't that car accident right after 'Innervisions' came out, though? So he still made 'Fulfillingness' First Finale' and 'Songs in the Key of Life' after recovering from it?
@@sealparty I think that music was already in the can by the time he got hurt. Brain injury takes a really long time to recover from. Just like early Prince, music just poured out of him, and the record company wants to space it out to maximize revenue
@@edwarddejong8025 interesting. Wonder had a series of very good albums all through the 80's and his last 'album' Conversation Peace, in 95, was his best since Songs in the Key of Life.
I remember watching this show ! So much fun ❤ I miss these days when entertainment was so real ..
Cher is perfect for Stevie songs. Her voice is totally in the right range.
I love Stevie, Cher is amazing with this medley….so many great songs
I loved Cher when I was a kid, and still do.
Grew up watching Cher, The Donnie & Marie Osmond show, these shows were such a blast to watch. I even had the dolls of Cher, Donnie & Marie
They had such a good time doing this. Lovely!!!
I like to include 1980-1981 to the seventies period. It still had that vibe.
I completely agree on that.
I definitely include up through 1982 in the 1970s
... moon boots ENDED the 1970s, sorry! 🤷🏻♂️
The world does not appreciate Cher enough.
Cher is a lunatic who would have been nothing without Sonny.
Cher was super pretty woman
oh Yeah we do. 🙂
She needs to shut up
mediocre at best
This was just great.
.... and this is why I love RPDR. It's this bright. The ppl there are this versatile. It's got this same, pure vibe. Thank you, Cher, Osmonds, Stevie... thank you RuPaul... thank you LEGENDS, artists, for spreading so much joyful happiness in this world.
Amongst everyday, life is a true celebration, and performances like this remind us so.
😘
huh? what did rupaul have to do with this
@@blakeposter7496 I don't know... Maybe RuPaul had something to do with this, somewhere, but he's certainly not a "LEGEND" by any stretch of the imagination.
Sonny and Cher and The Osmonds grew up loving both these amazing shows and great talents!
This is soooo good! Cher forever!
1970s cher, super gorgeous looking
They literally popped lock in slow motion and in unison. Smooth 🥹
I’ve always loved the Osmond’s. Very underrated in my opinion.
Problem is that TV ruined their music careers. Also they became too much of an advertisement for the Mormon church.
Man, I'm sooooo glad I grew up in the '60's & '70's!!!!! Best years of my whole life!!!! Will ALWAYS LOVE the OSMONDS
💙🖤💜💚🧡
Donny's first solo album was my very first LP and I bought every one of theirs from then on!!!!
Love this...reminds me when there was real entertainment on tv for the whole family.
we need shows like this now! They killed it
Definitely won't hurt..I mean growing up watching TV shows like this one just didn't have time to go out and kill anybody and spend the rest of their life in jail at hard labor..the artists tell you to go out and shoot the...Love&Peace luv ya byo eJ
I didn't think they killed it. I thought they did quite well.
The Osmonds are the complete package 🥰🥰
Stellar performance by Cher and The Osmonds! The band backing them up were super tight! I really enjoyed that!!
Yes band was great ,,, but there are pre recorded parts in there...where are the mics? A boom mic was used for close ups but the distant shots were pre recorded vocals. I will say sounds like Cher sang live all the way through to make it look polished. It's all cool,,,makes it look sound and look great for tv.
Great comeback, I loved it how Donny couldn't take his eyes off of Cher.
Well, to be fair...those mormon boys probably hadn't had much chance to see as skimpily dressed or a woman as her up close to that point...haha.
;)
1970s cher was super pretty woman
@@loydkline4686 don't forget that she still is beautiful especially at her age. 👍
@@CB-im9rw sonny bono, i hear had a very crush on cher, sonny bono remarry, etc etc plus cher had tv show with sonny bono & without sonny bono. , cher had everything tall, pretty skin & hair, great hits music ,, very pretty woman , it like they not human, immortal, when very pretty woman age they get back to the ground or floor, i still think cher is pretty but don'r worship her looks, laugh ,❤️ her music from the 1970s, tv shows
They were taught to watch whoever was singing at the time, kind of honoring/respecting the performer. If you watch other videos, they do the same thing with everyone.
They're all having such a great time 😄
