One thing about the Osmonds: they have always appreciated their fans. And Donny seems to get a huge kick out of going that extra mile to make someone's day. A class act!
Fast forward to this weekend, I'm in a production of Beauty and the Beast. This is our final weekend and Friday night, the venue we're at has two theaters in it. He was performing in the one right next to us. His showtime was at the same as ours. We were going over one of the songs after having a week off, apparently our Beast/musical director Shawn wrote a brief letter to be given to Donny Osmond. While we're finishing up before places, our choreographer/Enchantress comes in and says, "Shawn, you need to come out here right now! Right now." Seconds later Donny Osmond walks in. He was very nice, shook hands, said a few words to Shawn, took a photo with him and our cast. Then ran back over to be onstage for his show. He posted it on his Instagram! Was very nice of him ❤
The Osmonds are good people. When I was a kid, my mom went to one of Marie's concerts and got invited backstage. She got to help Marie get dressed for the show. My mom got her phone number and she still calls and talks with Marie on occasion. She's been to her house a couple times and met the whole Osmond family.
Happy 50th Jennifer!!! Donny is such a kind and generous person to give of himself to make her day so special, something I know she'll never forget! I met Donny in 2011 in Toronto, the day after I saw him and Marie in concert. My husband and I were walking back to our hotel, (we are from out of town) and who comes walking down the sidewalk toward us but Donny, Debbie and their son Josh! My husband told Donny that we had seen him in concert the night before, how I was such a huge fan since I was a young teen and that I had all his records! I asked him if I could have my picture taken with him and he obliged! That photo sits on my dresser to this day! He was so kind to do that and it is something I will never forget! 💜 you Donny!
She's just amazing. Emotions always right there, never a fake moment, never a negative comment. SHE is a masterclass in how to make it in Hollywood with grace, style and kindness.

My sisters and I went to a book signing to see Donny about 25 years ago... and my young toddler nephew was too shy to say hello to him... but in the car, while leaving, started crying huge crocodile tears because he missed his chance to have his picture taken with Donny. We went back, told the store owner and she passed a whisper into Donny's ear. He suddenly paused his book signing and shouted "NOAH! Come over here!" with a big smile on his face, and my nephew lit up and jumped onto Donny's lap! The picture turned out great, and I even wrote a thank you letter to Donny, which I did get a sweet response! He's a wonderful guy!!
I am a fan of Jennifer’s. She’s a class act. What a great birthday surprise for her from Donny. I was a teen in the first half of the 70’s so I had his and his brothers’ albums. Had the opportunity to see them live in New Orleans and meet them in person after the concert. What memories! Jennifer will have some really great memories on video!

I love Donny and the Osmonds in general. Growing up in the 70's...his posters were all over my bedroom walls. I was dedicated until he got married so young. Broke my silly teenage heart. Finally...I discovered Rock and Roll and New Country...and moved on. Donny will always be in my heart. You are right. He is extremely humble and kind. They all have had their share of tragedies and are wonderful people.
These are two DECENT people in the entertainment world who are true role models. My mother worked with Donny Osmond in Toronto when he was in Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat production at LiveEnt. They had desks across from each other in the office. One of the biggest thrills she got was when he thoughtfully sent her some thank-you roses after she'd stayed late and rushed a script to him. Decades later she still speaks fondly of him.

One of my favourite actresses. Pure class. There is so much fun & love in her. The way she treats her kids and others. The support she gave her ex, during his many spirals into toxicity. Her kids Dad, so she would always help him, because he fathered her kids. It shows how classy she is because she has not retaliated or responded to her exs damning comments. If anything it highlights how beautiful of a person Jen is. Bens happy with Jlo (who is one of my my favourite singers) however he should concentrate on that happiness in his life and leave his ex alone. Nothing good comes from slinging crap at your ex, just makes you look like the bad guy.

I fall between Donnie and Marie in age, so I grew up listening to the Osmonds and the Donnie and Marie's variety show, she was my first celebrity crush, loved them all these years. In 2018, my wife and I went to Vegas and stayed at the Flamingo. They had a residency there, they only did 1 show that week and my wife surprised me with tickets. Great show, and they've always come across as down to earth people. If you ever get a chance to see them...do it!
So happy for Jennifer. Donny is a really nice guy. On my honeymoon, we went to Disneyland and saw both Donny & Marie perform. My wife also loved her some 'Donny'. Well, during one song he and Marie went out into the crowd shaking hands and was headed straight for us. He got to the row in front of us, stopped and turned around and went back to the stage. My wife was crushed. Forward 20yrs.: Donny made a stop at the TV station I work at to promote his tour. I managed to catch him as he was walking down the hall and told him that story. He said that he definitely remembers that show because they only did one at Disney. He felt so bad for my wife, he grabbed his PR manager and had her give him one of his photos which he signed personally to my wife, Sharon. She was thrilled! What a nice guy! Made me look like a hero.

My mother worked with Donny Osmond in Toronto when he was in Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat production at LiveEnt. They had desks across from each other in the office. One of the biggest thrills she got was when he thoughtfully sent her some thank-you roses after she'd stayed late and rushed a script to him. Decades later she still speaks fondly of him.

I fall between Donnie and Marie in age, so I grew up listening to the Osmonds and the Donnie and Marie's variety show, she was my first celebrity crush, loved them all these years. In 2018, my wife and I went to Vegas and stayed at the Flamingo. They had a residency there, they only did 1 show that week and my wife surprised me with tickets. Great show, and they've always come across as down to earth people. If you ever get a chance to see them...do it!

So happy for Jennifer. Donny is a really nice guy. On my honeymoon, we went to Disneyland and saw both Donny & Marie perform. My wife also loved her some 'Donny'. Well, during one song he and Marie went out into the crowd shaking hands and was headed straight for us. He got to the row in front of us, stopped and turned around and went back to the stage. My wife was crushed. Forward 20yrs.: Donny made a stop at the TV station I work at to promote his tour. I managed to catch him as he was walking down the hall and told him that story. He said that he definitely remembers that show because they only did one at Disney. He felt so bad for my wife, he grabbed his PR manager and had her give him one of his photos which he signed personally to my wife, Sharon. She was thrilled! What a nice guy! Made me look like a hero.

Fast forward to this weekend, I'm in a production of Beauty and the Beast. This is our final weekend and Friday night, the venue we're at has two theaters in it. He was performing in the one right next to us. His showtime was at the same as ours. We were going over one of the songs after having a week off, apparently our Beast/musical director Shawn wrote a brief letter to be given to Donny Osmond. While we're finishing up before places, our choreographer/Enchantress comes in and says, "Shawn, you need to come out here right now! Right now." Seconds later Donny Osmond walks in. He was very nice, shook hands, said a few words to Shawn, took a photo with him and our cast. Then ran back over to be onstage for his show. He posted it on his Instagram! Was very nice of him ❤
