2023 and I'm singing along with the Osmonds like I did as a teenager in the early 70's........had a collection of my favorite artists on 45's and albums and listened to them ALOT on my record player in the bedroom.......my dad would say " turn it down, do you want to be deaf when you're 60?"...........now Im almost 69 ( birthday is same day as Maries) and this takes me back to a special time in my life.........they were extremely talented and worked hard as artists and performers........they perfected their dance movements in front of large mirrors..........Andy Williams knew their talent was special.............he gave them their start and they always credited him for that through the years...........my family watched Andys show every week......my family lived on an Air Force base in Japan for 3 years in the late 60's......the Osmonds gave a show at the NCO club on base one evening in 1968......my parents went to the show.......my sister and I were teenagers and really wanted to go but my parents said no......we were so disappointed....... Mrs. Osmond, Marie and Jimmy were watching the show at a table in the audience......after the show my mom walked over and asked them for their autographs.......she said they were very nice
These are not just song lyrics for these gentlemen, they believe in what they are singing. Makes me sway to the 🎵 music 🎶 Just like being a kid again !!! Love the feeling. Know matter how fletting the feeling !!!!
Wish I could go back to the seventies the best days of my life ,I'm 62 and no friends either moved away or passed away and no one around me wants friends they already have them at least in the 70' I had friends and the Osmonds to listen to what more could you ask for. All I have now is memories
Me too , they came to england in 1972 and i saw them at the free trade hall in manchester for my 15th birthaday i was 4th row from the stage with a fantastic view i will never forget seeing them, all the noise and the whole experience also the entrance to the hall was glass fronted and it was locked until time to admit us all and crowds of girls were banging on the glass to be let in it was pandemonium and when donny threw a towel towards us from the stage my friend had a fight over it with some other girls.bloody hell !
I was mesmerized by Donny but love Merrril and all of the brothers. With College,jobs marriage and children,I completely forgot about this song and " That's My Girl" even though I loved them so much. It's funny how you still know all of the words. Glad I found them again.❤
Me too I loved Donny and told my best girl friend that when I got older that I was naming my son Donny hadn't seen her in years I had my son and yes I named him Donald lol but that was his father's name not Donny Osmond we had a good laugh but they old videos take me back way back IAM now 64 years old

I miss these brothers! I was still in my grade 5 when I started listening to their music. Their music is already a great classic. Still listening to them this Oct 25 ,2020 amidst the pandemic as my stress reliever & inspiration in my early senior years. We have the same age as Donny. Keep safe Osmond fans & God bless.

I have always loved them and I will continue loving them and they’re going to be part of my memorial when I die. Their songs will be there. I however I am sad that after watching certain interviews that they weren’t happy doing a lot of these songs so it makes me look at, these videos in a different way now. I still love them but after knowing what tragic things they went through in life it’s difficult to know that they weren’t really happy through it all because they were forced to do a lot of things that they didn’t want to do.

Boyzone actually did a very good job in covering this song back in 1995. It was a big hit in UK and many parts of Europe. Unfortunately, I don’t think their version was ever released in North America, so it didn’t chart and was not known by many people here at this side of the pond.
