Parky brought in Longman to challenge Elliot Lee. Also, Parky is all in on Michael Smith and if that falls through because of Wednesdays manager, then they'll bring back Dalby. It's very likely the only moves that happen this window is Longman and bringing Dalby back. I'm not sure what's going on with Wednesday at the moment.
Solid signing. We need creative midfielders not another striker. Marriot is like a signing and fletch is having a career year. Need Bruntie back badly.
Hull city fan here. He’s got a great engine and he won’t stop running for you. Proper hard worker, could probably improve on his goal numbers per season an assists.
I understand everyone’s concern commenting that we need a striker, and actuality we have multiple strikers on the squad, but we don’t have is creativity and tactics of getting good service to the strikers. Having Ryan Barnett send in Cross after Cross is not substantial enough.
We need a winger as an insurance policy for James McClean, as he is on track to sit for five more games during the remainder of the season due to his appetite for yellow cards
I see a lot of complaints that are not signing a pure striker. Who just puts the ball in the net but I think a lot of our problem has been the quality and the quantity of good scoring chances. I think Marriott Fletcher Palmer and Mullin all capable of scoring. So I can see Parkinson’s rational is that he is going to help us create more chances for our strikers to be productive.
I'm still learning the game, so when you mention a player. I look him up - just did for Ryan Long man and Wiki now has him as . . . current team: Wrexham 🎉
Need a finisher that will be an answer for the run in and beyond. Fletcher is likely done after this season (so his spot needs to be replaced now or in the summer), Palmer is not a finisher but a facilitator, Mullin is either still not game ready or not going to be able to hang in these upper levels (constantly on the floor or getting handled by Leage One/Championship caliber defenders), Dalby is not likely League One (or Championship) level and we are lacking in Academy/Youth talent. IF Wrexham is serious about making a run this season, a lethal finisher is needed. I don't mind a winger that will replace McClean (ban or eventual retirement in the year or two), but it may be time to consider that a tactical change is needed. Midfield is stacked but we kick it out to the wings for a (mostly) two man header off a cross. If Barnett can't find that finisher, then we are limited on scoring options. This is not the window to solve all of the issues, but if the club is all in, then clinical striker is priority one. Playoffs is still out there, but the team has to score more than one goal a game.
I agree with most, but I think Dalby should be given a chance. He is basically Fletcher's replacement at Dundee, and Fletcher's the only striker finding the net at the moment
He is gonna get more playing in Wrexham?! If we have learnt anything about Parky is that he does not give many chances to the backups. So, I doubt he would get any playing time. The only signing that works with Parky is a consolidated player that is gonna be far above anyone else. If they need any adjustment time, they are not gonna get it.
I dont think Paul Mullin knows where the net is....also i dont think Parky knows that Wrexham has no striker and absolutely are non competitive away from home

And style of play is an issue, too much reliance on Palmer's role in the air, and too many long balls and balls in the air. We need to be able to play through the middle and to press the opposition into errors which we are not good at. Dalby was never given a chance to be a centre forward at Wrexham, he was just used to tee up Mullin.
What are your thoughts on the inevitable signing of Ryan Longman?
What are the chances Parky tries to shift him from a winger to a second striker? Seems like he has a decent attacking foot.

We don't need a winger! We need someone who knows were the net is!
Its the feeding though...you double up on barnett, and it dries up fast. Marriot back.

Glad to see you're on the mend, Liam! Self-care is the most important thing.
This signing if it happens doesn't really excite me we need a striker

We need forwards desperately….you know , ball in the net type of thing…

Also, do take care live in Ireland and we're thick with flu here
Things are heating up!!!
Didn’t Lankshear say Wrexham knows I’m available? Why aren’t we speaking about that?
Ah i miss seeing Jordan in a red shirt.
he can come in for Macca when he is banned!!!
Wrexham's offence has become predictable.
Lankshear is available for loan.

They should just bring Sam Dalby back from loan. What more could he possibly do
Hate to say it but who cares. We dont need more wingers. As always a great video but im getting nervous this late in the month and still strikerless
Check Wikipedia for ryan longman says current team wrexham 😂
