Always great to see Warren Haynes and Friends, and I have many times. I also saw Jerry Garcia and Friends many times as well, and I appreciate Warren honoring Jerry on the day after the day of his demise, he is always a class act. Actually met Warren after one show back in 2003. It was winter, cold and raw, but he hung out with me and a group of my friends in the parking lot for about ten minutes, signed autographs and generally mad us all fans for life. One of the best people on tour at any time ever.
Warren is always the consummate gentleman!
Jerry died on August 9, 1995. This "Loser" was performed in Portland, ME on August 9, 2022.

Warren is not just an incredible musician and one of the nicest and most genuine people you'll ever meet - he's also a music FAN. He talks about other musicians as if he was just a fan. Warren's truly one of the best - and not just on a musical level. The world would be a much better place with more people like him on this earth.

There were TONS of people who played "with" both bands. There is a handful of guys who weren't original members of either band but have played as regular touring members of both in later incarnations. No offense, Just confused as to who you were referring to?
The only two guitarists to play with The Brothers and The Dead are Duane and Dickey. Jerry and Bob with The Dead and The Brothers. Warren, Derek and Jimmy Herring have played with Phil and Friends. Otiel bass for The Brothers and Dead and Company.
Not always a fan of Warren's tone. But he is an amazing road warrior just Jerry was. 🙏
