Love this fuckin guy. Even when it wasn’t easy, he gave us what we came for. Amazing how 30 years on, I can cue up Jerry anytime I need him.. like a little digital genie. So many recordings! Thanks to those who share and for the band for having the wisdom to allow them to have been made.
The Master gave till their was nothing left to give, I was at the last show in Chicago, one hell of a ride, forever Grateful!! R.I.P Jerry, I hope you’re playing for the lord every day now, peace out.
These two nights in Albany were my favorite shows of that summer. Jerry seemed to be happy to be indoors and outta the summer heat. Great version of an amazing song.

imagine the dudes in the band getting together to rehearse for the upcoming tour and seeing Jerry looking like this. god man... they should have cancelled all remaining dates immediately. but Jerry was the engine that kept the Money Train rolling... fucking tragic.
They are band mates, not his mother.😂 If you have a true passion for something , you die doing it. Music and dope were his thing and I love him for EVERYTHING he gave. No tragedy here my friend, just a beautiful man , who lead a beautiful life. Go find your passion!
Jerry looks so utterly exhausted but still manages to play this song pretty well. I wonder if every date on this tour was nightmare for him, as if he wanted it all to just be over with so he could be at peace.
Man that’s tough to watch, you can tell he’s struggling to play to because he’s actually watching where his fingers go, someone with his level of playing would prob never look at his fingers, man that’s tough to see
This is actually a bright spot, performance wise of a bad 95 summer tour. I also like the Knick 95 show Help>Slip is very interesting. Very few good moments musically from 95 in general.
All things must pass. May JAH keep you in the safety of his memory until the dawn of paradise. I hope to make it there to greet you my friend. I'll join you in JEHOVAH'S choir. The band that never stops 🐢🐻🌹
I REALLY don’t see all that the bad people are talking about! I mean, ummm, JERRY GARCIA HIGH ON SOMETHING??? Nope! It can be true!!! IF he’s THAT messed up, as people are suggesting, HOW CAN HE STILL PLAY GUITAR AND SING LIKE THAT??? C’ mon now! A man that had a nickname of “ CAPTAIN TRIPS?”! How about just enjoy what he’s doing !!!! PLAYING FUCKING AWESOME MUSIC!!!
It's hard to know how much of Jerry's decline was accounted for by the demands made of him in the late 80s and 90s. Also a lifetime of not liking to be told what to do (think of the freedom culture out of which GD music first emerged) rendered pleas from doctors, family and friends useless. I know he was in and out of rehab many times, but with poor diet and smoking, the human body can only take so much. At least with Jerry he left behind an incredible legacy of music for generations to come. And good on Bobby for being the health nut he is now.
It was not that simple. We were all enablers and the bottom line is we all stood with Jerry to the bitter end. Yeah, things could've been very different, but that was not meant to be. His job was to shed light and not to master.
Love this fuckin guy. Even when it wasn’t easy, he gave us what we came for.

Couldn't have said it better myself, there's nothing better than going back to a great show that you saw and watching it again anytime you want.....
I love and miss you tremendously Jerry. Still listen basically everyday. You are an icon!! Sorry you were struggling here!!
The Master gave till their was nothing left to give, I was at the last show in Chicago, one hell of a ride, forever Grateful!!
R.I.P Jerry, I hope you’re playing for the lord every day now, peace out.
Sadly you are so correct 😢
A pretty solid version right there for the time period , I was pleasantly surprised 😎
A true showman till the end. Rest easy Jerry you were the BEST!
These two nights in Albany were my favorite shows of that summer. Jerry seemed to be happy to be indoors and outta the summer heat. Great version of an amazing song.
This never gets old, i
miss this wonderful man who always makes me smile.
The Greatest Ever!!!
Oh Lord...love this wonderful man.
First minute. Speechless. Jerry’s saying everything through that guitar. Listen to the music play.
Really miss this gent!
Heartbreaking. This was a 52 your old man at the time. Let that sink in. Seriously.

Often I think of how at the end he looked 20 years older than he was
Often I think of how at the end he looked 20 years older than he was
One of my favorites ...
Miss this gent!
Thank you Jerry
Difficult to watch. Glad I wasn't there. RIP, Jer - catch you on the rebound.
Everything runs its course. What a great fucking ride it was ....
Actually he nailed this to.. Like so many roads at his last show it has so much emotion.. Jerry👍🏼💨🍻
Love Jerry and miss him so.
He nailed it I'm
Not sure what everyone is talking about..
A true Musical Genius
Otherworldly
53 going on eternity 😞
I caught every show that summer. My birthday show was 7/8/1995. The following show on July 9th would be the last for Jeŕry. I'm still hurting inside.
Brings a tear to my eye
Breaks my heart to see his fingers trembling like that
It is... heartbreaking.
Nerve damage in his neck
Thats the diabetes. Take my word from personal expierience.
He always played like that. They’re not trembling, it’s a vibrato. It gives each note more substance
@@briandrum1 Yeah, diabetes vibrato. lol
Believe it or not, but this is one of my all time favorite Losers
I agree. There's something about this version that makes me keep coming back.
Your a loser! Sorry had to say it! :)
I'm a loser for liking a particular version. To each their own asshole
@@christopherwarren2965 I was kidding. Couldn't resist. Check out my post from 2 years ago where I said I liked it for 95.
Me to man some of his later performances are so soulful
The best!
He was in his early 50s, but he looked 80 years old. Sad.
imagine the dudes in the band getting together to rehearse for the upcoming tour and seeing Jerry looking like this. god man... they should have cancelled all remaining dates immediately. but Jerry was the engine that kept the Money Train rolling... fucking tragic.
just imagine if they’d slowed it all down after brent passed
They are band mates, not his mother.😂 If you have a true passion for something , you die doing it. Music and dope were his thing and I love him for EVERYTHING he gave. No tragedy here my friend, just a beautiful man , who lead a beautiful life. Go find your passion!
If they cancelled he'd have just hit the road with John Kahn or JGB and played as often as he could.
95 summer tour should have been cancelled.
They tried multiple times. He told them to F off.
Nice!... I got to go to the two nights on the 24th and 25th RFK. So sad a few weeks latter. Thanks Bro.
Jerry looks so utterly exhausted but still manages to play this song pretty well. I wonder if every date on this tour was nightmare for him, as if he wanted it all to just be over with so he could be at peace.
Stay away from dope it takes everything everyone we love away
holy shit looking at this now ... how could I be so blind ... my god ... he looks just like late 83-84 ... i love you all
Muy triste...Sin palabras
The man
Love it !!!
Pure love from Jerry...
u can just tell that he's giving everything into his songs... sadly at this point he didn't have a lot left to give :(
Phourth dimension
Not sure what’s more haunting; this version of Loser or that Garcia was 52
Dam he died 7weeks later sad very sad miss you jerry
He was only 8 years older than I am now. Looks 30 years older. Saw them two nights straight that year, was a blast
Man that’s tough to watch, you can tell he’s struggling to play to because he’s actually watching where his fingers go, someone with his level of playing would prob never look at his fingers, man that’s tough to see
And the band kept playing on one of the best loosers I’ve ever seen
Man...what aDeal here...this is why i listen to Garcia and the Dead...
*Loser

Last time I saw Jerry
Love
I saw the Knick shows. My last. They were hit and miss but good for the time
Jerry was the best at what he did. He was a jammer

We’re going back to San Francisco I was told⏯
Damn
Feels like I'm watching Ali - Holmes here. I prefer the Cleveland Williams version (DP#9 - Englishtown, NJ)
POOR JERRY
😢
1 good hand
We blew it!!
so did ur mom
Knick 90 was way better. I was there too. Second row. Life changing
Two words: 1) Fuck 2) Yeah
Who were the two losers who disliked
Not worth it the high

The crowd sounds like a pack of wolves. Sickening what they demanded and took for themselves.
Wtf? They just sound like a bunch of people enjoying the hell out of a legendary band. How is that a bad thing?
It's hard to know how much of Jerry's decline was accounted for by the demands made of him in the late 80s and 90s. @@MB20978 i know right? Wtf. Insane comment.
I was thinking vampires. They demanded and took the last of him. That he was willing to give it makes no difference.

What a terrible song.
