Sound and tone is amazing on this. Sounds like early 60's in so many ways. Warren Haynes and his entire band do no wrong. Recent show at the Ryman in Nashville blew the roof off.

Maybe if you had one of them Bluetooth enabled wireless speakers that can be paired with your particular phone, you might be able to achieve a louder volume output. I know that the speakers in iPhones and other cell phones don't provide a high enough volume for enjoying such great music as this. A Computer's speakers aren't too bad at delivering loud enough decibels, but nothing beats hearing these tunes over a good quality set of speakers on your home or vehicle's stereo system.
I had the same problem, but not after I got this Marshall Blackburn portable speaker! Greatest bass response I've ever heard from a single speaker! Getcha one!

I haven't been able to find the interview. Warren talked about playing/recording live in the studio. The AIR moves with all the different instruments, voices, amps, etc. To me, that's when the magic happens. Charlie Watts didn't need no click track rock...or blues!
Warren plays funk/Soul Blues better than any other style of Blues guitar. He just seems to have the feel for it. The Bends, the articulation of notes-The Slurs. It’s not about speed when your playing tasty blues like this👍

I saw Junior Wells at Buddy Guy's Legends back in the '90's. I was a huge fan and sucked up the courage to approach him at the bar before his set. He was friendly, but when I asked if he might play "Snatch it Back and Hold It" (one of my favorites) he looked at me over his beer with tired eyes and just shook his head, "Man, I don't even remember that song." I couldn't believe it! But I guess with a such a long career, and so many songs down the line, he's entitled to forget some of his legacy. What a great musician and performer!
