      They weren’t easy to get too. The space is limited in the engine bay. I definitely advise to remove the stock air box and engine cover for extra room, then come in from the right side of the engine as you look at it from the front.

    Just finished, thanks a million! Took me 4 hours or so. Last half hour was just me obsessing if I've tightened everything enough, alignment, if the silicone parts have been pushed in far enough etc. Happy with the sound. The increased noise noticeable than I imagined especially with a loud exhaust, but noticeable nonetheless and I'd do it all over again if I had to

    I have a all types fabrications air box just because was fair price and Australian made and made quick delivery. Same basic information. Sounds great! I found the sweet spot to make turbo flutter haha build up boost better in 3rd 60km till you get the idea, and slowly back off the throttle and slowly. It won't activate the bov. Back off the throttle too fast it will let all the air out the bov
    Ps I have few videos of my sounds haha
    And also you can monitor the intake temps and charged air temps with a obd2 bluetooth device using torque pro app

    • @FaithlessEmoRacing
      @FaithlessEmoRacing  2 года назад

      Yeah I have found that it does that in third easiest too. Tbh I love going half throttle and getting that induction roar, build a little boost then backing off.

    Thank you so much for this video, really helpful! I just fitted mine and ran into a few problems. The nuts that the maf bolts to are too tall and the oring doesn’t seat in the bore. What did you do with the part that clips into the main pipe behind the engine (you have to remove it and the lower M8)?
    Would you also mind clarifying whether you had to plug the vacuum sensor at the front of the stock air box after this video was made?

    • @FaithlessEmoRacing

      Which section are you referring to in the first section? If you put the time stamp on the section in the video I will figure it out.

    • @FaithlessEmoRacing

      Thank you for the support. That’s why I refitted the sensor. I know modern cars tend to freak out when any kind of sensor that was there isn’t fitted. That’s why I just taped it up and kept it out of the way.

    • @rbsmason

    looks great, you should do a Dyno test to see if it improves the power or does the hot air under the bonnet take away the performance, better still, get a grill and put it on the bonnet over the air intake, definitely get a little more sound and would at least get 3-5bhp. .

    • @FaithlessEmoRacing
