Careful to not over tighten the hex bolts. Did that for my sxth and cracked the plexi. I did add some thread locker and some rubber washers and backed them 1/3-1/2 turn.
Can this be an add on to existing mst intake or do I have to buy the entire kit? It looks like the same intake pipe and filter. But the box and induction look amazing
@@Speedindustry I’ll shoot Alex a message and talk to him about it. I deal with you guys for most all my mods. Alex is a great guy. You guys always have speedy shipping and great service. Best speed shop online I’ve ever dealt with. Always recommend you guys!
Pretty late comment here but would love some insight. Just grabbed one of these in red. Didn’t realize the shroud goes a little further back than OEM. Do you think it will get in the way of anything, specifically an aftermarket Intake Manifold (weldspeed)..thanks!
Boy, I wish they had something like this for the 2019-2022 Non-Aspirated Corolla XSE Hatchback, 6 Spd. M/T, w/the 2.0L engine. I considered buying a new GF, but w/interest rates so high, I said forget about it, at least for now.
See my comment below or watch one of our earlier vids - if you want that carbon look-- well then.. If you want an OEM finish look, Then MST is the clear choice -- Both solid products
There will not be - The only part that is the same is the rear tube , better option is to sell what you have complete so someone can use it and DM us for a loyal customer purchase
Ask any great tuner, back pressure is not something you want any of with a Turbo car. you want to evacuate any and all pressure past the turbo; larger the orifice the better,. The "oomph" lost is typical of adding an intake and highflow exhaust as it changes the power band and pick up through out the rev range. The GR ECU will learn to use these mods, but a tune is the real way to optimize in order to reduce the change in "oomph" you describe.
@@BigMeechEJ25 So if you're getting the m. Yes. TV one, there's a suction cup hose you can buy and the. MS V-2, there's a little coupler. You can buy, and that'll keep the cell code away
Either way, the crankcase parameters are super strict from Toyotas factory tune, if you’re gonna mod the car, you’re only really gonna see a difference in everything thrown in through a tune like ecutek with graham from boostin performance. Otherwise, keep it stock
Probably the first intake for this car that actually is a good design.
I really like the design of the shroud
That’s the coolest intake I’ve ever seen 😉
I would get the clear plastic airbox cover done in PPF on both sides to keep it perfect and scratch free.
great idea
@Speedindustry I did it on my truck and it's great! That plastic is designed to scratch lol
This is wicked. Hopefully pricing won't be too high.
Pricing is on our site :)

great tip for everyone
Good ol back off a quarter turn 😂
Wow this looks solid. Any chance for a Dyno run with the new intake?

We can see if there is an upgade option - Great idea

When installing it everything worked fine, no code?
Are there any check engine light issues associated with this airbox system?

When are these expected to start shipping?
How does this compare to eventuri ??

Sound better than the first version
It's DEEP
CARB compliant?
Definitely interested! I already have the V1 intake so I really hope theres and uograde kit

What are the hp gains..??
This is amazing.
Does it come with the pcv pipe?

So do u need a tune for this intake I know the mst says u don’t but I see videos all over RUclips with cel codes?
I've been wondering the same thing. Can't think to help that it probably will, but hoping there is one we can drop in without a tune.

As long as the pcv code stays away. I like this setup. Is it available with a complete turbo inlet?
TBD
It looks promising
Daaaaam man, how about a little detail on how to insta this intake for your customers, full detail video not speed try it 😅
Damn that’s nice but I already have the Forge one..
Sell it - hahah
Damn I want to by the gr corolla…. But I need the Sienna first guys meh lol 😂
Did changing to that intake give you a code?
NO
Compared to Eventuri??
Different concept and look, they are both so different but also both similar bringing fresh air in from the front.
❤❤❤
DM’d the IG page just now 😂
got ya added to the list
probably still needs a tune
I’ll stick with my SXTH
Dyno it
All that and still no fix for the CEL? What a joke.
That is not a factual statement. They have worked hard on this and there was not and should be NO CEL with this intake
