Honestly, been interested in this piece so glad you guys are doing a video.
Hope you enjoyed it and found it helpful. We have a detailed video on how to trim the side ducts coming out next week. It is a really nice product and actually an easy install - 100% recommend this product
Great video - thanks Malen and Speed Industry!
Got the SXTH Element intercooler the Jackson Racing Intercooler wasn’t out yet.. but I like my SXTH intercooler it performs excellent runs couple degrees over ambient temperature.. The SXTH is a bar and plate very durable since I do lot of highway driving doesn’t get any rack ding like stock and cools very good.. I think the Jackson is a tube and fin, I wonder how durable it is.. I saw the testing on the Jackson unit and it performed also very well. Nice
Is it possible to ask how much space is in between that new csf intercooler and the radiator. As I plan to order a racer x oil cooler kit as well and am worried about the clearance and compatibility. Thank you very much love your guys’ video and content great stuff. Keep it going!!
Any turbo sound difference with this?
will this fit a GR Yaris?
It looks like a solid kit, and I'll be keeping an eye on this.
As it is covering more of the radiator due to height, does this impact the radiator coolant temp? Also, is there a difference in time achieving full boost compared to the OEM unit?
It should be fine because it a tube and fin core. A bar and plate is much more dense. The SXTH Intercooler Core is a bar and plate my coolant temps are the same.
@@mhk67091 I don't mean any offense to you whatsoever.
I'm not one to take 'should' as a reasonable answer. I look for data and validated results.
There is a video where they talk about flow through being really high for radiator as a design consideration. It's good.
@@not12listen I ran mine on a dyno jet and have ECUTEK as well. So I have data.
@@not12listen watch speedlab performance their is a video showing intercooler temps no exceeding 30c after multiple dyno pulls.
Can this be done without bumper removal
I think @CarQuicks did an intercooler install this way
@@NMTDevastator yeah not possible. Just did it and theres no way
